hummm... guys I dont want to be the devils advcate but, couldnt he meant with that that his mind was only in the NT and focus on the World Cup? and not maybe a insult to Juve?
Which is why I think deciding to start hating a person for saying something someone heard without knowing the context is a bit lame.

The exact quote IS "Juventus who," but in French, of course.
And what was the question to which he gave that response? What was the rest of his response (if any)? What was the interview about? etc

Guys, Thuram DID say that, and he was been ask about Juventus scandal, what I question is the context of the answer cusa like I said he could have meant thatin that moment he wasnt or didnt want to think about Juventus cause his mnd was on the NT.

Thank you, but may I add that it could have easily been a sarcastic remark.

I've watched Thuram and I think he makes a good captain. He's certainly more vocal than Zambrotta (whom I like anyway).

I think all this Thuram bashing is out of proportion. We don't know the whole story. Let's give him the benifit of the doubt here, especially as through the years, he's demonstrate top-class manners/sportspanship on, and from what i can tell, off the field.

I think it's immature on our part as fans, to start threads like this, now that players are on their way out. None of them are betraying us. They've got a life to live, and they deserve to live it the way they want, under the circumstances they feel is right for them. As regards, Thuram and Juve, I'm a great admirer of Lilian's abilities and his study of the game. He has to me at least, been a keen Bianconero and played for the love of the shirt everytime he was on. "Juventus who" is too abstract when quoted the way it currently has been. It would be wrong to label Thuram a mercenary, when we've got Zambrotta and Cannavaro also having put in transfer requests. And we applaud them. Let's not maintain any double standards. Thuram deserves a pat for the commendable effort he has put in for the previous 5 seasons. So let's give him credit, until this so called 'answer in its complete context' proves otherwise.

I wonder how much of this is bitterness after losing to Italy, it was Ok when HE was winning against us in WC '98 and cruely in Euro 2000.

What a classless comment when the club is at it's lowest.
