Hmm, good question. I still need to watch some important Kubrick films (especially Barry Lyndon and Paths of Glory), but it's between 2001 and A Clockwork Orange. A Clockwork Orange is by far the most enjoyable one to watch though.

Very difficult to come up with a single answer. Think it would be one of Taxi Driver, After Hours or Goodfellas for Scorsese. And Dr Strangelove, Full Metal Jacket or The Killing for Kubrick.
Kubrick had a very inconsistent output, for my liking, unlike Scorese. Barry Lyndon, for example, almost bored me to death. Not a fan of 2001 either. And the less said about Eyes Wide Shut, the better.
