Thats the thing, it build up the story of Captain america well enough in first half, but then fell short completely with follow up (basically when WWII parts started), like how they were taking out the bases of Hydra? Talk about missed opportunity, just quick run through bits and pieces, like a trailer of the events (more like montages), instead of actually seeing them for real, was unengaging (and those action scenes that was there was poorly directed). Same thing with Red Skull final showdown, built up as a great conniving villain, only for the big showndown to be....nothing? But Chris Evans as Capt atleast was a really good casting choice. Even if the rest of the cast wasnt used aswell as you said. Glad this director isnt doing Avengers atleast (its Joss Whedon, can do witty/camp well plus engaging storytelling).
Totally agree, it did seem like some character development for Captain A and then a sprint to The Avengers and the Captain America sequel.

Unknown- Meh, 6/10. Storyline too scrappy. Spoiler below:

Martin Harris thinks he's being impersonated, why not cooperate with the police for help. Wouldn't they be the best bet to help him? Alright, the embassy is closed for the weekend but surly there are systems in place for emergencies like missing documents, etc.

So then he escapes being killed in the hospital by a guy who ends up killing 2 other people. Does he go to the police? No. Why not? Then same guy and another are chasing him and trying to kill him... Go to the police, dude! You're in the middle of a major city. How long was that car chase scene anyway? Where are the god damned police? (Everyone's an expert daredevil driver, btw; reversing down narrow corridors at full speed.)

And Gina is driving along, looking for Martin and happens to look up to the right place, right time to see Martin getting his ass kicked. Like professional assassins do their business where any passerby can see. She gives the henchman thug guy 5 seconds notice that she's going to run his ass over and he still doesn't move, just shoots. So he gets rammed, flies into a van and proceeds to get up and start shooting like he got bounced by a go-kart while she reverses... and he let's her run into him again.

And they've got to come up with something new other than memory loss to keep you guessing.

he was already dead.
If the alternate reality was real, how come only Fentress died and not anyone else on the train?

If the alternate reality was "reassigned memory" as they say, how was Colter Stevens able to wander out of Fentress' memory of what really happened and be at places that Fentress didn't go to see things that Fentress didn't see?

This is the director's view, which doesn't really answer anything:

What happened to Sean Fentress, the teacher whose body Colter Stevens inhabits?
Jones: So the idea is the Colter Stevens is now inhabiting the body of Sean Fentress. If that is the case, and Colter Stevens has been able to get on the train and stop the bomb from going off, then that means Colter Stevens never needed to be sent back to find out why the train blew up. Which means that somewhere back at the facility where Goodwin works, there is a Colter Stevens who's never been sent on a mission yet. So the idea is that now, in this parallel reality we have a Colter Stevens inhabiting Fentress and a Colter Stevens waiting in a facility where Goodwin works who has not yet been sent on a mission.

    Winter's Bone

Watched it just too see Jennifer Lawrence who I have the massivest crush on (unusually for me, not just for looks). It was slow but good.

    Whats' Eating Gilbert Grape

Johnny Depp is inspiring, Leo DiCaprio is retarded.

    The Beaver

Again watched it just for Jennifer Lawrence. Could've done without, oh and I hate Anton Yelchin.

Attack The block, bit entertaining, funny way of doing "alien invasion", the chav kids were bit lolsy.

Though Nick Frost was so wasted in this, barely had anything to do, or was funny in any way, when he is the main recognizeable actor in it (rest are first time young actors).
