Finish the season and win another scudetto, then walk away gracefully.. We should consider alternatives in the summer to take us to the next level.
Like who? Who's gonna take us to the next level?

We already are top level, we just don't have a top shelf midfield.

Allegri: 'Just kick it into the stands!'

Massimiliano Allegri raged at his Juventus players for their “superficial” attitude in a 3-3 draw with Parma. “Beautiful football doesn’t pay off, at the end of the day just kick it into the stands.”
The Old Lady was 3-1 up and looking comfortable in Turin, but deep into stoppages Mario Mandzukic tried to play the ball at his own corner flag and it fell to Gervinho for the equaliser.
“We were too soft defensively and made several errors,” the Coach told DAZN.
“There were certain moves that were superficial and lacking in the necessary concentration. We need to be more focused, we can’t keep taking things for granted.
“We lowered our guard after going 3-1 up and then again on the final ball for the equaliser. You cannot play with that attitude at the 93rd minute with the ball at the corner flag. It was conceptually the wrong thing to try to keep that in play. Just kick it out.”
Allegri said after the 3-0 Coppa Italia defeat to Atalanta midweek that it had been “in the air,” but evidently the wake-up call was not heeded.
“We were lucky to get the win against Lazio, but we were punished by Parma. We need to do a lot of work on our concentration levels.
“On the first goal, there was a cross we should’ve pushed up on, but Cancelo didn’t follow the run. On the second goal, we moved too early and left a massive gap. It’s not possible to score three goals at home and concede three, it means we’re only playing to attack without thought for defence.”
Juventus did have a completely revamped defence, with Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Barzagli out of action.
Leonardo Spinazzola got his first Serie A start in a Bianconeri jersey, while Martin Caceres was thrown straight into central defence just days after his transfer from Lazio.
“It was the first time this back four had played together and we didn’t help the centre-backs, always leaving them in one-on-one situations. They need to realise there is no shame in hoofing the ball into the stands if needs be.
“At least we gave those who complained we weren’t entertaining enough something to enjoy. [ @Nedved96 is he talking to you?] Beautiful football doesn’t pay off, at the end of the day you’ve got to just kick it away from your goal.”
Napoli beat Sampdoria 3-0 today, so the gap at the top of the table is reduced to nine points.
“That is still a healthy advantage and this setback will ultimately do us good.”

You know what this means? Back to boring classic max. 1-0 wins.

Who keeps complaining that our football isn't fun to watch and should be fired for it? @Post Ironic who is it?

I like that he moved the fullbacks up the field to provide width, especially considering the attacking potential of both Cancelo and Spina. However that requires an extra holding midfielder next to Pjanic, otherwise the central defense is to exposed. Matuidi is chasing players down on left wing and Khedira played the entire game as an extra CF.
I really wish he would try out the 3-4-3 when Bonbon and Chiellini is back. This squad is made for that system. Use the attacking potential of our fullbacks to provide with, and let our CM concentrate on defending and distributing the ball. Let the 3 forwards change positions and find space between the lines.

Far too open today. It's as though he wanted to prove that playing expansive football doesn't work.

Was obvious early in the second half that we needed a DM to just sit on Gervinho and the area 10 yards back from Inglese.
Could be. Was smiling (sarcastically maybe) at the end there.

Max can´t be blamed for us dropping points after a poor decision from a very experienced player at the end.

Managing big squads like ours are difficult. One thing are injuries, the other part is just keeping players happy. Ideally Max could go all Sarri and play the same 11 every game but then we would have loads of Benatia type situations. I think Benatia had to go as he took his dissatisfaction public. I personally would´ve played him more before it got to that point but it remains to be seen if it will cost us in the long run.

I think our challenge now is that we are either too defensive or too offensive and lose our balance. The concentration levels of our midfield and defense are poor, even with the usual starters (United, Young Boys, Lazio, Atalanta, Parma today). This also prevents us from playing more attacking football as when you´re high up the pitch, one wrong pass and you´re countered. Who´s fault this is I cannot answer but it is the reality and Max is rightfully more conservative in certain games because of it.

It will be really interesting to see if he can fix this and get the injured players back in time. I honestly think if we don´t win the CL he´ll finish his contract and stay for 1 more year to try and win it, no way Agnelli and Paratici are firing him. If we win he´ll leave on a high this summer.
Max is definitely not to be blamed - Our defense should have been much better and it was the players that didnt step up defensively!
Despite the goals we conceded we did attack and hence we scored 3 goals now our team need to learn from previous mistakes and combine control with grit and concentration.

Our current midfield should still be sufficient to control every game (in Italy)
Europe - Yeah our mid is a joke compared to the other top clubs

every single player is underperforming, he still can't figure out where to play dybala, a player who would walk into any team's starting eleven. our performance since the start of the season is insufferable, despite getting cristiano fucking ronaldo. should have been sacked right before the last season's scudetto celebrations.

Wow. So many bitches. This dude got us to two CL finals since 2015. Maybe have the decency to wait until the end of the season?

Hey, maybe we'd be doing much better with Caldara? Amirite?

Were fine as long as we get Chiello back for Atletico

The test is against Atleti

Go back where you came from.

Zidane. Go all out for him. He’s done with Spain and doesn’t want to coach in England.
If you don't mind losing out on the Scudetto. I'd take him, but i doubt he's gonna take us to the "next level".

Not an excuse, but similar to Pep at Barca, Zidane had an almost unbeatable squad available at Madrid. The real world test is still waiting.
