Marotta's revolution, with or against it?? (9 Viewers)

Are you with or against a revolution Marotta style?

  • Yes, I want to change half the team and make a revolution in transfter market

  • Buy 2-3 world class players (Best scenario according to Moggi, Trezeguet etc)

That is going to cost an awful lot of money.

It looks great, don't get me wrong, although it seems as if Poli has regressed a little this year. Benzema alone would cost a fortune
Yeah Benz would cost a lot I guess. do you reckon theres any chance of him going for under 20m or am I just being silly?

Why Poli over Marchisio?
Ok then
Buffon
Beck-Bonucci-Chiellini-Santon
Krasic-Marchisio-Melo-Bastos

Quag-Matri isn't very exciting.. We need to buy a quality forward and keep matri as the 3rd striker with ale being the 4th.. And we desperately need two fullbacks: RB and LB..
We could've actually had players to cover for all positions if he not sent away a few players like trez, gio, immobile, ariaudo..

I don't know if three world class players per year is that realistic but if so I'd like a LW, SS, and either a fullback or striker. If we sell Sissoko we'll also need a DM though.

So, Pastore, Marin, and Van der Wiel. And for DM, maybe Barca decide to get rid of Mascherano (on loan ;)) since he never plays?

Getting rid of them to bring a fewer quality players is good and it is not revolutionary.
You'd need a squad of about the same size we currently have though, so getting rid of 8 or 10 players means bringing in 8 or 10 new ones. And if you're just replacing mediocre with mediocre, then I don't see the point.

Not really, getting rid of 8-10 players can be replaced by bringing in 3 quality players and completing the squad from the Primavera instead of loaning the lost souls out.

I think it could be a revolution in the head, theres nothing more pressing within this team than changing the mentality.

yes..marrone, pasquato, rossi, a keeper, giovinco, esposito and libertazzi would be better than grampas

I guess. But knowing our luck with injuries, we could very well end up playing 3 or more primavera players each game. Personally, I'm not too comfortable with that.

Then again, I'm not too comfortable in playing Grosso either :D

i would LOVE us to buy 2-3 world class player but let's be honest that would only leave us short in other areas. right now i think a LB,LM and CF are the priority.
agree that it is highly unlikely we can go witha forward line of Quag and Matri so need to beef up the attacking options.
a left back is a complete no-brainer(Santon would do nicely) as would a RB but as Sergio touched on we have stumbled upon the young Dane who has done extremely well.
a LM is an absolute neccesity to avoid Krasic being hung out to dry week-in week-out

but then we have the question of all the loan signings and Aquilani especially,so while i dream of 3 big signings, the probability is that we will have another 5-6 players instead

We need to get rid of half the team including: Amauri, Iaquinta, Grygera, Rinaudo, Traore, Aquilani, Pepe, Grosso, Sissoko, Martinez, Toni(we should have just kept Trez)

Replace them and add 2/3 top quality players as Moggi keeps saying, only problem is a lot of the top quality players wont join Juve without CL football

OUT: Amauri, Iaquinta, Grygera, Rinaudo, Traore, Aquilani, Pepe, Grosso, Sissoko, Martinez

IN:
RB: Cassani/Lichsteiner
LB: Clichy/Marcelo/ possibly Santon
CM: Luiz Gustavo/ Pirlo if he lowered his wages his vision is amazing/ L.Diarra
Winger/Attack: Bastos or personally i'm a fan of Walcott but it would probably be a problem convicing Arsenal to let him go
Bale though he would be expensive
Menez/Lennon and bring Giovinco back

Then theres always Pastore but he'd be pretty pricey too though if they are really serious about competing then they need to stop kidding themselves and fork out some cash for good players rather than waste money(12 mil) on people like Martinez

^some of those mentions are unrealistic + the fact that we aren't in the CL doesnt help, but the real Juve would have been able to sign them easily and if we want to return to our dominance then thats what we need to do

sell 10 players and bring in 7?

aye thats exactly what Moggi suggested
re read my post? just skip to the part where I said 'replace them and add 2/3 top quality players ' no need to replace/sell all of them but most of them have to go

i did read it,you said REPLACE-that means take one thing and put another thing in its place (in simplest terms)

you then say

AND add 2/3 top quality players-that means once we have done this thing ADD ANOTHER 3 players of the highest quality to supplement the players we already have

hope this clears it up for you

Some sources saying he wants to get rid of Amauri, Iaquinta, Martinez, Motta, Grosso, Brazzo, Storari, Sissoko. Also play Chiellini back to his position while Barzagli being the 3rd choice CB.
problem is, that these sources have our forum or vecchiasignora as source ... so it's fantasy-bullshit all along.

and to the guy saying "no pirlo-worldclass, but real worldclass and 3 of em" i can only reply "how many you think we have ?".

with our budget we would be very happy to get even ONE real worldclass player.
