Marotta's revolution, with or against it?? (1 Viewer)

Are you with or against a revolution Marotta style?

  • Yes, I want to change half the team and make a revolution in transfter market

  • Buy 2-3 world class players (Best scenario according to Moggi, Trezeguet etc)

The thing is that we bought him for 12mln euros already and after such an invisible season for him, I don't see any clubs after him. Even if some are interested it'd be a loan with an option to buy (5-6mln euros at most). It's an incredible loss for us, at least from a financial point.
Agreed. His value is at an all time low right now. You would literally be getting pennies on the dollar

Sergio, If we get a proper LB then I wouldn't mind playing Giovinco on the left flank. Marchisio - Melo can cover up. But that's only if we get a proper LB. If not then you did summit up for me pretty well.

Zlatan, Napoli said they wont let Quag go away easily and that his price tag isn't as cheap as Marotta thinks. Also if they book CL place and we don't which looks like is going to happen then you can expect them strengthening their squad and most probably adding Quag.

Its not up to Napoli, we have an option on Quag, whyt they said is that they wont reduce the option price because of his injury.

But they have the right to increase Quag's price depends on his performances no? And the final word goes to us or to Napoli?

Rab, I would say 1 WC Left Back, as I really think that Sorensen is developing into something special at RB for an 18 year old. Bonnuci and Chiellini are still relatively young, and good CB's can play into their mid 30's anyway. So there won't be a need for Sorensen to be a backup CB. A Left Winger of high quality is imperative regardless of which formation they play in.

I think that Quag and Matri are going to stay.

For me, if they can get a proper LB, LW, and another midfielder who is a notch abouve Aquilani, whom despite my love for him, simply has not stepped up at all these past couple of months, and I will be happy.

If they do decide to get a striker, they need to go out and get a young striker with a lot of potential. I don't think that Iauquinta and Amauri are going to be coming back, so the strikers would end up being Quag, Matri, DP, Toni and Martinez, in a pinch.

I would also bring back giovinco for the sole fact that he would allow juve to have some flexibility if they decide to switch to a 4-3-3- or 4-3-2-1 or a 4-2-3-1 formation. Assuming that they will be able to.

Nobody over the age of 24, please. Its time for some younger blood to get into this lineup.
    This.

My only qualm would be to get a WC striker and get rid of some of our deadweight and salaries up top. As for Aquilani, I think we should gamble on Poli whom might turn into something special. Sorta like Aqualani but younger and I don't see Sampdoria as being able to negotiate well at the moment.

No, we have a fixed price (10.5 IIRC) and its only up to us if we want to buy him for that price, but we wanted to negotiate a lower price because of his injury.

No, it's a fixed price. Remember De Laurentiis said this:
“I won't gift Quagliarella to Juve,”

“Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta signed a contract. The option price is already fixed and it will remain that way.

“I am not stupid. I wouldn't make a gift of Quagliarella.”

Just like i said at the beginning of Secco's carrier with us, in such clubs, in this level, the quantity over quality mentality will always fail.
If we were adding a couple of Krasic like players per season, we coud be a title contender a couple of tears ago.
The five year plan has naturally failed, as i have predicted and for the reasons i predicted and we are starting a new five year failure.

An inexperience man is prone to mistakes due to lack of exp+maturity, but only a stupid one does not learns from his own mistakes...

Some sources saying he wants to get rid of Amauri, Iaquinta, Martinez, Motta, Grosso, Brazzo, Storari, Sissoko. Also play Chiellini back to his position while Barzagli being the 3rd choice CB.
But that is not something revolutionary, none of these players is really needed anyway so getting rid of them is good.

Adding 2 or 3 world class players on the current squad is a good idea. But last years' squad had great gaps, we had to sign at least 6-7 backup players.

Look, screw DN. Bring back Giovinco and play a 4-3-3. Sign some fullbacks, send Momo away and bring in a replacement for him like M'Vila or Asamoah or Inler. Use Marchisio in his more natural role closer to the center.

I'm sick of catering to the 4-4-2.

    Buffon
    Beck-Bonucci-Chiellini-Santon
    Krasic-Poli-Melo-Bastos
    Quag-Benzema

    Anybody?
That is going to cost an awful lot of money.

It looks great, don't get me wrong, although it seems as if Poli has regressed a little this year. Benzema alone would cost a fortune

Well, they're quite lot of players there, the more we have new faces the closer we are to a revolutionary transfer market.

Sign Matri and Aqua, bring back Gio and Ekdal, sign A coach (who knows how to play in different systems) and sign 3/4 good players. Ahh, and try to bring back Ariaudo could be good, too.

Hoping: Cassani, Cissokho, Dzsdzsak and Benzema/Neymar. I also would like a world class DM instead of Melo and a nice replace for Sissoko. :D

Come on Marotta, prove us you are tha man!!
