Give him time to get the squad gelled together. It will come. All of our link up players are new. So yes the midfield is going to look terrible because we dont have the ability to field players capable of releasing pressure off them and letting them swing the ball around the pitch. We dont have Dynamic mids but you cant say we didnt bring in any dynamic players. Pjaca,Cuads,Higgy, Dybala, alves all are dynamic and link play. Conte was all about the mids running past the forwards which we all bitched about because when pressed we couldnt hold the ball long enough to hav our mids get up. Now we have outlets to freshen the 3-5-2 up and have more places to go with the ball when releasing the pressure.
What will Allgri do with these options is very exciting but wait for him to have that ability. There is no reason to doubt him yet

I think u misunderstood.
What im saying is exactly what u said. We need to find solutions elsewhere than from midfield.
Even if we use the excuse that thgey do not know each other right now, the fact is that while they gel, we need a variation or a plan B.
Thanks for the compliment! But thats a horrible idea!. This sport has midfielders! We cant play without them but thanks for the input my dear brother.
I have a better idea!. Lets use midfielders!!! But shift the bulk of our play to the wings or to a playmaker (note I said playmaker, not a playmaker playing as b2b) instead of relying on a not so hot midfield (at least right) .

The truest post I've seen here. Been saying this a while, this could work even better with Marchisio back..we need stoppers period. We need to cover those wings and 4231 does it better..and attack wise, It seems some people think Barca is stupid for playing messi on the wing..Dybala as inverted winger can knock any defence out of balance, drawing CBs, cut in and unleash that left or go wide..pjaca is the question mark, if he holds his own at wing we will have an unbelievable attack.. Got Alves/sandro who can attack, most importantly they won't have to be high up all the time as opposed to 352 where they have to press and leave wings open when we lose the ball..then our midfield which is not good enough creatively to press, has to stay deeper, which means we don't even have the midfield for this already bad formation.. so no point in Allegri to employing 352, not even in the league..
