Like here in Norway there's a custom that on the 24th you go to church at night and people go with their whole families. I call that tradition because people go then who never go otherwise except for stuff like weddings. So I don't believe it has any religious content for them any more than decorating a Christmas tree.

Religion and faith is very tricky it goes up and down. Some people are more devoted than others. Even atheist, some of them don't know shit about it, they just think it's cool to be atheist, example my housemate she was saying God doesn't exist then i asked her 3-4 question then she said shut up, I don't know. My point is that, it's faith, some are religios because of tradition, their parents or grandparents belong to that religion and some become religion because they read, or meet religious people who convince them and they find God. I am convinced that God exist and I am really glad to be a believer.

the argument started with sheik claiming that he only acts based on certitudes and facts, which is obviously not true, a quick look in his pocket will show pieces of paper they call money which are nothing but tokens of faith in an economic system. As for the unwavering belief, please reread the exchange, i speak of reassurances, take for example the notorious Dawkins who handpicks vulnerable targets that are supposed to speak for their faith.
