1.Honestly Zidane on a club level.

Zizou could have won so much more with us. With Real he won 1 CL and 1 Primera for 5 seasons. This is so underwhelming for a guy with his abilities.

2. Ronaldo (R9) on a club level.

3. Inter's failed talents - Recoba, Adriano, Vieri.

4. Players with high expectations but little end product - Saviola, Robinho, Van der Vaart, Diego, Cassano etc.

The problem was often Inter, not the player. Vieri scored goals everywhere and was a monster for many seasons. He had occasional weight issues but what really counted against him was the amount of clubs he played for. Inter definitely saw the best of him.

His 6 seasons at Inter are the only time he played for a club for more than one season, which quite frankly is ridiculous.

Doing so well and winning nothing (except one Coppa and Supercoppa Italia) is why I consider him a waste of talent. But you are right - Inter were a waste of talent themselves at that time.

Did someone list Vieri as failed talent for Inter? wtf?????

World class top 3-5 striker in the world at the very least with them.

Its a big FU to us to see more and more of what we were impatient to wait for, and also in his case, for being a journeyman mercenary (usually world class players settle down, but not him) who just chases the biggiest check possible (he flat out said only reason he wanted to go Atletico was salary, even if Juve assured him they could gradually phase him in). If we were more patient, and he was someone more focused less on moolah, he would been amazing partner with with Ale. And absolute monster in the box.
