I don't want Pavel to become our Maldini, holding up a place to a more promising player. He's a legend of the club any way you put it, but he's not good enough to be a starter anymore. This should be his final seson, lets use Giovinco.

I think Nedved's had enough, I think he's had enough even before this season but the circumstances made him continue further. He's just such a dedicated person he doesn't show it. This will, IMO, be his last season with us.

The same stories go around here as well and I think the Bayern one is just a stunt to raise price a little bit. Overall I think he will be sold at about 15m max, though 10-12mil could also happen, anything over 15m is unrealistic.

More of a playmaker but the guy can really play anywhere in the middle, the guy is a fighter and never gives up, no matter what you ask of him, he'll do it. Plus his skills with the ball, the vision.. He's the whole package, but like I said, Wenger's got him lined up already.

Luka Modric is the man to replace Nedved, I've had that feeling for a long time but after watching him against Werder yesterday, I'm sure of it. He is perfect for us. Too bad Wenger will get him before Secco notices how good he is.. Diego? FTW!

Most definetly, to offer him a bench role is insulting and not to mention right out stupid since he certainly can play from the start for at least one more year. I have a feeling that's the problem, I don't think that Ranieri sees him as a starter next year..

I doubt money has anything to do with it, I believe he mainly wants reassurances on his role on the pitch. Perhaps Ranieri doesn't feel he can play 90mins anymore and has a super-sub role in mind for him, which would be ridiculous IMO.

Perhaps he has been for a game or two, but you just got me thinking. I really think DP should hand over the armband to Nedved for next season, or at least a few games, as some sort of symbolic gesture, the guy more than deserves it. DP will always be Capitano of course but I'd love it if Nedved...
