knee jerk reactions at their best, eh?

Cassano is a brilliant player. Based on his form in the past two seasons, he is better than any other Juve forward imo. To say he is a choker because of this one game, is just being fickle. He barely got any balls, he had to come really deep to even touch the ball. The game was lost in midfield, Cassano had nothing to do with it. Melo and Sissoko played an absolutely fantastic game yesterday.
People dont accept that he now is a better player than Del Piero.

Absolutely correct.

I like the use of the word ball.

Based on the things you said fred..and thinking about how every team gives it all on the field when they see the black and white shirts... isn't it logic to say that he isn't the one we need? It isn't about this game, it's a general thing. He chocked big time once..he will do it again....he did had problems with the clubs...he will have them again..i wouldn't risk another penny to bring a troublemaker and a primadonna to the team..no when we had done so many stupid transfers..

Do I need to comment on this? Seriously what's wrong with some of you? Del Piero always stepping up in important big matches, Real Madrid, Milan, Inter, Roma, CL other matches....Cassano's record against Juve, Inter and Milan with Sampdoria, can anyone tell me please...

Antonio Cassano will never get to Del Piero's left foot nails let alone other things. Some of you are just incredible.

whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, now just wait a bloody minute...better than Del Piero? :howler: hell no

Last season he was better than DP. This season DP did not participate so i will postpone judgment.

He has been better than DP recently that is undeniable. Of course i am not comparing the two players abilities, nor am i comparing their achievments or whatever. My whole argument is based on recent form. Which is what is relevant now, as we are in 2009 not in 2007.

I'm not saying you should bring him to Juve, as i think there are more pressing matters to be addressed.

You could make an argument against Cassano based on his poor attitude. But it would be extremely hard to make an argument against him based on his lack quality.

Also, yesterdays game does not automatically mean "he is a choker"

Del Piero got only outstanding fantastic goals last year in CL. No other random normal goal but fantastic ones only, starting from CL qualification ending up having Real fans bowing down for him. He outplayed Milan, Inter, Roma, he won several matches all by himself.

While Antonio Cassano was ripping Bologna, Chievo, Reggina, Catania apart? C'mon

I love Del Piero, Cassano last season was the better player though.

i was talking about his period at the biggest club he played...real madrid. All that i am trying to say is that he is more suited for a good team in which he's the only star..and the team will play only for him, not a world class (top 16 team)...his behave, his stats, his moments of sparkle clearly speak about my opinion.

I expected better from you TBH man. Facts I've given you in my last post concerning their form and matches but you're ignoring them. Anyway.
I'm not ignoring them pal. I watched Cassano alot last season and he was majestic. Del Piero as in the games you mentioned was fantastic but overall Cassano had the better season for me.

Cassano vs Del Piero? Ok, I'll make it simple...

Cassano - Big fish in a small pond.

Del Piero - Big fish in a big pond.

Don't make me come back here again. Ciao.
