What confuses it is how Dolores has the ability to have flashbacks to the future. Or flash forwards so to speak.

Westworld is shaping up to be another show that builds up lots of mystery and riddles and only resolves them with contradictions or not at all.

And I'm not sure I want to emotionally and intellectually invest into such a ride again if you know what I mean. Decided to watch it in a rather casual light-hearted manner.

Episode 9 was great but the timelines theory is incredibly messed up now.

Anthony Hopkins has to win the Emmy.

Looks like the man in black is part of the board
The last scene with Dolores was really confusing though. I think there might be 3 timelines actually.

    1. First Dolores timeline where she gets into the church full of broken hosts.
    2. Dolores and William timeline.
    3. Present timeline.

Or it's all in Dolores head and she's confusing timelines.

    Either way. Anthony Hopkins :tuttosport:.

Production, presentation and storytelling values are stellar!
The cast is superb too, the siundtrack and the special effects are top class too and yet the storyline and its mysteries is the main atraction! It had a very promising start, but i dont see it surviving long before it becomes repetitve and boring, there can only be so many plot twists and revelations before we start losing interest.
I already starting to develop an apathy towards the cutehearted hosts, because i know that nothing that has happened really has any meaning, tommorow a new day will dawn and everything will be in place, so it doesnt really matter what they do, or is happening to them. As the AI is gaining self awareness and gains access to the real world, things will become very interesting, but again a climax will be sort lived as the tittleshow suggests, because the theme will always be that vr westworld...
So to conclude, yes the production values outmatch everything we have seen so far, miles ahead of series like GoT, yet this not a series that could or should last too long!

I agree about the timelines, it's really confusing and I don't expect too many clarifications in the coming episode. It's the season finale, right?

    what?
lazy hollywood kikes acting as if they have to paint the sistine chapel. If regular people only could have their 'workload'

In 5 years from now shows will contain 6 episodes and air every 2 years.
    So basically a Brit series

Sherlock is the worst at that. It'd probably be better off considering itself a bunch of movies

What I also don't get is the scene in a previous episode where there were employees of the company saying Dolores was deviating from her script, but they preferred to wait to take her off since she was with a guest (William most probably). Was that in the past? It doesn't make sense.

Yeah it is but it was announced that it will be 90 minutes and will clarify everything.

And it sort of is. It takes them a while to air cause each episode lasts for 1.5h which is basically a movie. So it's pretty much like 3 movies after a year, year and a half, which is still pretty nice. I don't mind it, although like with everything else that I like, I hate to wait.
