both will exit the small markets they play for currently in their respective FA years of their contracts. but a pairing such as that would not be impossible nor inconceivable. teams and GM's these days have the cash flow and revenue stream to sustain the salaries for both stars on the same roster.

would it be good for the league? no.
would it be entertaining to watch? fuck yes :D

Unless these stars are willing to take a significant paycut, then no, there are a ton of teams that DON'T have the wherewithall to support two superstars on the same team.

The NBA is the only league that has a salary cap, where the salary cap actually went DOWN.

And it s going to get worse.

I fail to see how people don't realize this

Lebron can keep dreaming then. Why would Howard even want to move to the Cavs? Lebron is better off coming to Orlando.
I will actually prefer D-Wade as Orlando's back-court is somehow lacking. Dwyane and Dwight playing for the Magic is gonna cause mayhem in the league.

Wonder if Wade is a free-agent this summer.

As long as we steer clear of that German, Dirk the Jerk, I am fine. Never really liked the guy, and he doesn't help his cause by playing for Dallas, one of the teams I hate the most in the league, along with Utah and Boston!

@ Enoran: Wade would be great indeed, but it depends on what we'd have to sacrifice to get him (even as a free agent) in order to free some salary space!

Thank for the confirmation, Dru. Seems like it will be a rather interesting next off-season. 2 of the 3 top point-getters are free agents.

I have heard about Hedo's contract expiring this summer. So if he does leave, I will get a decent big man in to play the No.4, move Lewis to No.3 and get Wade for the 2-guard next season or better still in a sign and trade this season

Hedo is a good clutch player, but Wade is a even better one, much better ...

That is if I'm the GM of the Magic ... But I'm sure its more difficult to put that into actions :p

At least it's better than baseball; a sport where the prerequisite is grabbing your crotch while chewing gum in the dugout; in the meantime you and your fellow "athletes" are waiting for the game to be over to be injected with roids in the lab.

yep, just saw that too

vince still has some game left in him

That's a very small front court. They are going to get killed inside. Now with VC's salary, I can't see how they will be able to re-sign Turkoglu.

Their defense is going to be abysmal next season
