I like the idea of points gathered solely against the teams in question system; they use that in the CL and it's a good measure of a team's performances
they dont have to count the goals conceded... basically if 3 teams have the same goal difference and the same goal scored , the would have the same goal conceded..

well.. i had happened in my school tounament once...5 aside... in the final they drawn and all the penalty have been kicked...that took a long time.. and they decide to toss coin to decide the chapion... that the only time i seen such incident happen though..
Actually, the following COULD (theoretically) happen:
Juventus 0-0 AC Milan (after 90 minutes)
Juventus 0-0 AC Milan (After 120 minutes)
Juventus 0-0 AC Milan (After 10 penalties)
Juventus 0-0 AC Milan (After 10 sudden death penalties)

That sounds a bit harsh, not giving credit to teams for having a strong defence. Just say team A scores 50 goals and concedes 20. Does that make them a better team than team B who score 30 goals and concede none?
