Nothing to do with what you said..one is constructive criticism..the other is spite. Lauging and taunting is SPITE and not based on your theory of wanting to see good soccer. Being happy over a tie which ousts the Italians...laughing over their misery has nothing to do with exciting soccer and big names.
I'm pretty sure i know who you're referring to... i guess you skipped the part where i cover this.... i'll edit my post and put it in BOLD for you.

With all due respect, your not always right...deal with it.
:wallbang: this again?!!

please read this sentance to yourself. Did you ever consider what this last sentance of yours implies?

Not really in the mood for anything constructive to say :broken: Just wanted to say that I don't believe it was fixed, because I believe in football and besides I had both of the games on the screen and it didn't look at all like they would play for a 2-2. Don't really want to hear about PKs not awarded to Italy and other crap either, because if they would be such a big team as they are saying that they are they would have grabbed the 3 offered chances, 3 games, set their foots down and made a constructive result. But I have my doubts that the italian media will see it like this. No wonder Italy is going nowhere with a mentality like this ... one big conspiracy against them. GROW UP!

That's enough of football for me this season ... see you all in September!
I could not have put it better.

All I want to say is that the following theory is more true than ever:

JEALOUSY IS A B*TCH.

This hatred and despising of Italy is predictable given our success as a nation, people and society since the Roman Empire...despite our laissez-faire attitude we are a G-8 Nation.
Despite our faults we are the most often imitated, sought after in everything from the arts to cars to fashion to land.
When you are on top people want to see you fail. Enjoy your 5 minutes of glory and laugh in our faces....but tomorrow when I get up I am still PROUD ... and this pride you childish motherfockers goes beyond kicking a ball around..this pride extends from character traits to history to culture to class something many here lack. (CLASS THAT IS).
Italy is thrown out of Euro 2004 just because they sucked and this is what you spew out! Get a grip - Most of us support the azzurri but we know they were not good enough to qualify. Why hide behind excuses? Face reality dude & don't mix issues. What hatred are you on about? When Milan won the CL you laughed at us and we congratulated you. Now you can't even stomach the thought that Italy is out. Dude, you preach respect & act like shyte.

Look there are also other factors that contributed to italy's exit, you can't deny it. Denmark-Sweden might or might not be fixed, but IMO it WAS fixed, not because I'm a bitter Italian supporter, but even some neutrals can see that it's fixed. We all know sports are not what it once was, now there are conspiracies everywhere, the world is just full of evil. The referee didn't give Cassano a clear penalty, the Bulgarians kept on falling to the ground every 5 seconds screaming as if their leg has been broken, etc etc, but at the end of the day, we have ourselves to blame. Like other teams we were given 3 matches to get to the QF, and we were shite against Denmark, we defended last FIFTEEN minutes against Sweden and did we really expect no goal to be scored from the swedes in FIFTEEN minutes!? Although it was a cheeky goal, and against Bulgaria we were just not good enough. Yes Italians have always had misfortunes against them, that much is true, but the time has come not to rely on such factors - we must EARN our place and face the obstacles that WILL come our way in the future. Forza Italia.

Wether or not it was a conspiracy , italy DID NOT desreve to move to the second round . it was a very poor display from the richest players in the world to win against a team like bulgaria in extra time:(

So because the ref in the Italy match was bad and the Bulgarians dived a lot (wich they did constantly in the other two matches they played also) the Sweden - Denmark game was fixed?

He's talking about me I guess, altho I did explain it a few times. I wasnt glad about Italy being eliminated, but I did find the whole situation extremely funny.

And yes, he's implying that you're not always right Majed, but, of course, he is. Of course.

    :yuck:
nobody wanted to see your nation fail if they would have shown that there is no reason for. btw..we have Audi, Mercedes, Porsche and VW (with Bentley, Seat, Skoda and even Bugatti and Lamborghini) - no occasion to imitate ;)

What's tragic is that you & your ilk certainly can't believe Italy sucked. There is so much wool in eyes you can't see past your eyelids.

The problem is I do believe Italy sucked. Everyone could see Italy sucked with exception of the game against Sweden of course. But that isn't the point, the point is Denmark and Sweden did mess up the result. Nonetheless, Italy sucked. But don't you think it's a disgusting thought you're just watching a directed show?

I completely agree with you mate...Ok Italy Sucked...but this is not the issue...the issue is that Sweden and Denmark didn't play a CLEAN game..it was fixed and this what matters

Andries, even if the game was fixed (which I think is ludicrous), what do you consider being the reason Italy failed to qualify for the next round? Was it the "cheated" game or was it Italy themselves? That's the main point.
