So you think Sorensen sucks and I think he fixed the game...uhmmm doesn't look good for Sorensen.
If the game was fixed, how come they didn´t score before 89 minute, because if your going to let the opponents score it still has to look reliable doesn´t it? So if you r going to make up a goal, who is dumb enough to wait until the last minutes? rather stressy wouldn´t you say?

The joy you saw in the swedish players eyes when they scored has to be an Oscar performance then? because that was PURE joy

I just checked, all in all 14 goals were scored in the last 10 minutes in the championship so far, 10 of those in the last 5. It's not so unprobable that a team will score in the last few minutes.

All I want to say is that the following theory is more true than ever:

JEALOUSY IS A B*TCH.

This hatred and despising of Italy is predictable given our success as a nation, people and society since the Roman Empire...despite our laissez-faire attitude we are a G-8 Nation.
Despite our faults we are the most often imitated, sought after in everything from the arts to cars to fashion to land.
When you are on top people want to see you fail. Enjoy your 5 minutes of glory and laugh in our faces....but tomorrow when I get up I am still PROUD ... and this pride you childish motherfockers goes beyond kicking a ball around..this pride extends from character traits to history to culture to class something many here lack. (CLASS THAT IS).
Are you serious? :D
Who hates or dispises Italy? Italy are always a neutral country and everyone likes them.

Good to be proud, but your alittle of the mark with this. People hate America, people hate Britian, people hate France. No one hates Italy. :D

Just wondering... we don't know for certain if it's a fix or not, IMO it seemed like it but denmark-sweden is innocent until proven guilty, but why do most of you seem so CERTAIN that it ISN'T a fix?? I mean, there's as much chances of it being a fix with it NOT being a fix.. there's the possibility of it being a fix... it's not like these things have not happened before or something, but I'm just surprised to see the certainty of some that claim it DEFINITELY is NOT a fix

of course there's the theory that last minute goals surely can't be a fix but there is also the probability that the last minute goal could be part of the plan or something, after all denmark did play dumb after being the more dominant team and missing quite clear chances.... again there's the 50-50 chance of it being a fix or not.....

Of course it was pure joy, they went to the next round. But that doesn't change the fact is was fixed. And yes they were dumb enough so it's strange you don't realise.

You cant feel pure joy if you know from the beginning that you wont lose. Have you ever played any sports? Because Sweden-Italy was a draw, the Swedes where halied as heroes, Nedved and co and turn the game around against Latvia, it didn´t get much response, Nedved and co turn the game around against the Netherlands aswell, the Latvia game probably most gave them a sense if relief, while the netherlands game gave them pure joy, There are different kids of joy, and the joy I saw was that kind of joy that makes you light headed, and that can´t happen if the game is fixed

    F. hell, Nick, I didn't know you were dumb enough to buy into this bs. You really let me down.
Where did I mention the MATCH WAS FIXED?

In fact in another POST I clearly said: GET REAL the match was legit. I'm surpised you couldn't understand what I was really saying.

HERE IT IS: (I don't appreciate unfounded accusations..thanks)

Goal in the 89th minute...Sweden-Denmark tie and Jon Dahl's efforts were not enough. FIX? Give me a break...the Danes didn't give them anything esp. not during that goal.

That said Italy was having difficulty playing in 9 men (I really would not count Materazzi as his intentions and efforts were not to make Italy win and Del Piero managed to be OUT of every single play between Zambrotta and the TOUCH OF CLASS Cassano AND even managed to send the ball wide on the one chance open in front of the net: GOD..what a choker).
Cassano may have missed opportunities but he was also the only one playing in attack (with Zambrotta feeding). Moving through defenders like butter....back heel passes and forcing the first goal and scoring the second. Hey at least we got Cassano (Italy) and DP is finally getting old so we won't have to see his MANDATORY inclusion in the line-up anymore.
Cheers to a Galliant last ditch effort.
Cheers for Trap. for forcing us to re-evaluate the team from A to Z and ending his tenure with another early exit.

I'm certian there isn't a fix (or nearly certian whatever words you want to use) because I watched the entire match with my own two eyes. That is what I trust more then anything. I'll believe what I see ahead of what I read or what people tell me. I was watching that match very closely in its last 20 minutes or so, and if it was fixed, then these teams desereve Academy Awards because it was fantastic acting. By my count, Isaksson had to make at least 3 saves, Dermark had a few other excellent chances and had 4 corner kicks from the time they took the lead until the time Sweden equalized. That seems like an awful lot of effort and an awful lot that could go wrong if the match was fixed. Why wouldn't they have just gone back in a defensive shell (like Italy would have in that situation even if the match wasn't fixed) and try to protect the lead. Why would they keep making efforts on goal?

So you decide that the game isn't fixed just from the looks of their face? No, I mean the looks of their joy?

Italy is thrown out of Euro 2004 just because they sucked and this is what you spew out! Get a grip - Most of us support the azzurri but we know they were not good enough to qualify. Why hide behind excuses? Face reality dude & don't mix issues. What hatred are you on about? When Milan won the CL you laughed at us and we congratulated you. Now you can't even stomach the thought that Italy is out. Dude, you preach respect & act like shyte.
I was talking about the laughs and spite towards Italy and the Denmark-Sweden match so get your facts straight kid. Supporting the Azzurri and being Italian is NIGHT and DAY..trust me.
I would like you to point out where I made excuses for Italy not qualfying through as you suggest and I would like you to show me where I didn't face reality and said Italy deserved to pass and the fix was in.
What are talking about? I was replying to specific posts laughing about Italy's exit and the Sweden-Denmark tie. Stop being a kid who wants attention and try to understand what the adults are saying.

Nick, Ali has been here much longer than you, or me for that matter. In this situation he's the adult and you're the kid, you need to show more respect to people, not look them down with your infinite wisedom.

Zlatan: the term 'kid' has nothing to do with experience and time at Juventuz.com but on the term itself...making statements and reasoning like an unexperienced individual who does not fully comprehend things...

    NOTE:

As the Italian team arrived in Milan today Alessandro Nesta received a standing ovation from the 300 fans meeting them at Malpensa (Airport).

Who ever here thinks Sweden was a better team than Italy you surely don't understand football. Top team in the group was def denmark, then Italy then sweeden. Sweeden had One lucky game against Bulgaria. The Bulgaria where actually playing better, then they let up 1 shit goal and they gave up. Sweden got murdered by Italy in the first hour of the game, it was a beating! Like I said before, if it wasn't that FAT F**K Vieri in striker position it would have been 4 or 5 nothing Italy. But no way was Sweden the better team, they are the France of group c, full of luck and full of shit...
