Should Beppe Marotta be sacked? (11 Viewers)

Should Marotta be sacked?

  • Yes - his signings are an embarrassment to the club

  • No - he just got us to the Scudetto and we should see where that takes us

  • WTF - When did we suddenly inherit aching ladyparts like interisti?

Should we fire him, No.

Should we extend his contract, Noooooooooooooooooo.

Let his contract expire, get someone else. I'm sure Lippi will be interested in the Job.

Despite all this talk, I'm pretty sure that Agnelli is delighted with him. If we do well this season, win another Scudetto, he'll probably extend his contract.

Thats amazing, huge achievement
Yes, it is.

We are not here to make jokes, how can Bendtner score 20 goals?
Have you watched him at Arsenal? I did and he is awful, cant dribble, cant score for shit, and arsenal played game similar to ours with making a lot of chances

Thats the thing, nobody sells for cheap
And if Marotta is unable to buy expensice players he should not talk about that
What about waiting to judge him yet.

Yeah. And one of the best attacks.
No club in the world got a perfect team.

]Llorente wanted to leave[/B], so did Jojo and i'm sure plenty of other players are eager to leave.

In Moggi's era, we never needed the money, In Marotta's tenure we are top3 spenders in Europe.

This year was the time to get the " Plasma " and what did we get fucking bendtner.

How can you explain that we spent 18 mil on a player who plays in a position we have the most depth and he didn't upgrade the position we are the weakest in ???
Doesn't matter, his club wouldn't allow that.

he didn't get us to the scudetto alone, alot was Conte's work and his ability to identify the right players for his system. such as prefering Vidal to Inler.
We got Vidal thanks to your friend Marcelo.

yeah, conte made vidal, pirlo, and others int quality players. he's a magician.

odd how it didn't work on elia, matri, boriello and quag though.... oh that's right it's marotta's fault when a signing is bad, but conte's work when he is good
It's not that difficult to understand, lioness.

If we win, it's Conte's (and the players') achievement.
If we lose, it's Marotta's fault.

Clear as mud.

Can I just point out how Van Persie will cost Man Utd £70m over his four year deal; £36m salary, £10m loyalty bonus, £24m transfer fee. That's €88m.

Zlatan will cost PSG €65m over three years.
I sure do wonder why the usual suspects don't reply to this.

Now that's just an odd thing to say.

Also have to say that the third option in the poll is very fitting for the current discussion :D

what exactly are your expectations from a loan signing of a 5th striker?
Its better to say hopes and prays instead of expectations ) So I hope he will be given a chance once, and score 3 goals, then in next game score 2, then 3, then 1, then 5 and so on every match =D

Ahmed, bro...
We don't expect anything from a 5th striker. But when Marotta fails to bring an excellent forward that he has been talking about all summer, then the least can be done is to sack him.

No he shouldn't be but we cannot keep neglecting the attack. Look really I think we should question the Money being made available to him...

Marotta apologists will continue to apologize for his failures. No one is saying the man should be sacked, well not yet anyway, but he should definitely be held accountable and responsible in his failure to address the team's main weakness. I am pissed that he didn't get us the Top Player in attack, and even more so with the acquisition of that useless lump Bendtner.

I personally feel we should wait and see how the season pans out. However, having said that, I feel Marotta is a limited DS and has taken us as far as he can go, kind of like Ranieri when he was coach here. He might make the squad solid, add depth, but he will never be able to make that quality signing in attack. We need someone with more vision, ambition, and the ability to perhaps be a more fierce negotiator and closer.

No one is justifying Bendtner's signing. No one.

What you are repeatedly (I don't know if intentionally or not) failing to understand is that there were no realistic options for us to sign a top player, and Marotta should not be held accountable for that. See the fees United signed RVP for, what Bilbao's president asked for Llorente, De Laurentis for Cavani, Viola for Jovetic, etc.
