all else equal? no doubt
Its awesome to me how different each section of our country is.

Desert in the Southwest. Greenery and outdoor life in the Northwest. Urban megalopolis living in the Northeast/Midwest. Calm quiet slow pace living in the Southeast. Land for days in the Midwest. Throw in some great lakes, a couple mountain ranges here and there, freshwater/saltwater fishing pretty much anywhere you point on our map...I mean we bought Alaska for a friggin million dollars. Hawaii too.

So much to do. So.Much.Left.To.Do.

I think the main problem here is an insane cultural paranoia perpetuated by irresponsible media coverage. Youve got white people being told dangerous minorities will break into your house at night and rape your family and other side being told that racist cops are actively hunting down and killing them. Both are rare incidents and no reason to be walking around ready to kill the first person who looks at you wrong.

You think our media (OUR MEDIA!?!) is ignoring gun control issues?

Really? :D
Not ignoring. Some say it wouldn't help prevent these cases. Clearly it would. Not all of them, but at least somr of them.

I never said that the USA is not a great country to explore. And the change in scenery is awesome, but the change in cities not so much. You could drive 1,000 miles and each small city would have the exact same roadmap. Gas station, restaurant, shop. Over and over and over again. This just goes for smaller cities obviously. I'd love to visit Chicago, New York, Boston, ...

Lol what? Yeah, people, are different in Texas than New York, but if you compare that to Europe..

Man, it's impossible to choose. I love lots of stuff about Italy and I hate about equally as much. Same goes for the States. Same goes for Belgium. Mostly I'm just glad all these different countries exist.

I just mean that if i were to be dropped anywhere in the world with no specific social or financial status id pick the states
Yeah, I can see why. I think I'd go for Scandinavia myself. For pretty much opposite reasons :D.

what about no specific health condition? ie. could be that you're fully fit, could be that you can't survive without ongoing personal care (permanently in bed), could be that you're schizofrenic

Free abd better than the paying alternative also ceteris paribus
Maybe, but if you compare it to the free healthcare in some of Europe's countries.. Still, I assume we were talking about ablebodied persons anyway.

Yeah of course, but Europe isn't a country.
No, but the US is half the continent. Given the distance I'd say there is actually very little variety in culture. A lot of variety in landscapes though.
