I think I'd prefer Milan to win. Our main goal is a top 4 finish and Fiorentina are more likely to threaten that than Milan if you get what I'm saying. Milan are always going to be up there, it's teams like Fiorentina, Palermo and Lazio that we have to look out for.
I wanted smbody to tell me"lets go for Fiorentina winning,we could win the Scudetto,We are Fucken Juve,we dont play fo 4th place".
But If u think we will only play for the 4th place this season, then trust me Fiorentina are the only threat for that place,Lazio are very weak this season,Palermo have a very good team but I think they wont challenge us for the Cl place.

The title isn't out of our grasp but to aim for that would be unrealistic imo. A top four place is our priority and primary objective. If half way through the season we're still around the top then we can dream of the Scudetto.

As for our challengers for 4th place, Fiorentina and Palermo are strong. Cagliari look pretty good and I wouldn't discount Napoli or Lazio. The season is still young.

Trust me Cagliari & Lazio will never challenge for a CL place.
Palermo have a very strong team this season, especially offensivly & Fiorentina _with all my respect to our team_ have a better team than ours & maybe a better coach, the difference between Juve & Fiorentina is our personality & I hope this will make the difference in the end.

As for the Title,Milan will suffer a lot midseason coz they have an aging squad with not a lot of Alternatives on the bench & they are playing in 4 tournaments this season,I think they will go far in the CL but they wont be consistent in the League.
Roma are my nbre 1 favourites this season,IMO they have the best squad in Serie a but their only problem is the Winning personality which they lack but still they could win it this season ,they also have the CL to play in

Inter have at least 15 CLASS players in their squad, they have a complete team, they lack a playmaker but they have .the mighty Ibrahimovic & I think if this guy got injured they will suffer a lot offensivly coz he is one who controls the rithym of their play!

Anyway I think we can compete for the Scudetto till the last weeks giving that we r not playing in Europe this season,BUT this will happen under One conditon Ranieri fixing this CRAP defence that we have now & a Solid CB is brought in January.

How the Fuck did we let Mutu go like this??
Why not loan him for a year?
We did so much for this guy & if we decided to loan him,he would've never said NO.
We have the Worst Board Ever.

that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Did you miss moggi while we were in serie b? How can anyone forget what he did to us or to italian football in general? He's a fu.cking disgrace.

Why can't we win the title? If we continue fighting this way, playing with our hearts, playing for the last second, not giving up and fearing no one, then there's no reason to leave Juve out of the title race.

All in all, it's still early to tell, we should at least wait after 10matches, but so far, i'm loving the spirit.

Just a question, would you have liked Palladino or nocerino being brought in earlier? Just to give the team a bit more kick ?
Well, I think this was a great match to bring and test Palladino. As you will be well aware I am not one of those Palladino fans. But in spite of my scepticism about his "effectiveness" what Palladino do very well is he is good at carrying the ball, and take on defenders. He isnt quick, in comparison to, Nedved, and Del Piero, he is more than quick enough. Personally, I would have taken Nedved off, because going forward I thought he was worse than Ale.

Having said that, Ranieri already took Criscito with Legro, so he probably had his hands tied down. Criscito was abused physically by Matri, and since Legro came on we dealt crosses much better, but I think Legro was guilty not victim of constant attack in later stage of match. Legro doesnt have great coverage, so he gives a lot of room for Forward to channel their runs. He isnt very good at picking runner, and I remember Foggia having acres of space near second half after Trezeguet's goal, and surprise surprise, all problems came from Cagliari's right hand side in forms of Foggia and Daniele Conti (who was quite easily the best midfielder in the match IMO).

Good point on Nocerino, I dont know why Ranieri didnt bring him earlier. Almiron looked exhaused by 60mins, and we all know Nocerino is a energy bunny. He would have given so much more bite to our midfield, than Almiron. Conti took Almiron to red disctrict towards end of the match. Beside, I hate bringing on player 5 mins left in the back, unless you are taking an attacker off. I think it is unfair on players, and pretty much pointless.

I have said numerous times that I liked what Napoli did during Mercato. They didnt go out there and spent crazy sum, which they could have done, but rather, they focused on their needs, and more importantly youth players who can improve after this season. I am itching to see Lavezzi in full match, because looking at highlight, he literally raped Zapata led Udinese defence. I also heard good things about Hamsyk and Gargano. I think Napoli will be safe this season, and build on from there like Fiorentina, but for this season, they havent got the depth nor quality to challenge for CL.

Palermo cant defend. I know that for fact. They will implode like last year. You cant rely on scoring 4 to beat opposition every time.

Lazio in terms of starting quality is concerned is slightly better than us or Fiorentina IMO. I like their first 11, as apart from CB, they have strenght all around. But their depth is razor thin, especially attack with Makinwa and Tare backing up, so I cant imagine them doing well in both CL and Serie A. That is why I am delighted they qualified for CL proper. (1) They get point for us to keep Italian Quota of 4; and (2) they don't have squad depth to do well in both competition because Lottio is a stingy bastard, meaning, they will collapse by March.

That leaves Viola and us, as two main contender for CL IMO. So as much as I hate Milan in Serie A (yes I do hate them in Serie A), Fioretina taking a point off is in realistic term detrimental to Juve's season.

true, but its also true that our current defense is a bit leaky :frown2:
And i dont think that time will change that.
