HRAÇ ehh, I once did a stint in a Hać "Internment Camp."
I was just about to mention that. Hać was a wonderful town in the mid 90's, as Arkan started his legacy that should be carried out for centuries and his comrade Sasha was victorious in shooting a bird out of the sky.

I like all sorts of rap, west coast, east coast. Cop said stop freeze, I got a froze-on, because I'm public enemy number one, one, one, one.

That's good, good.

I think Lippi learned his lesson that he overrated Iaquinta. No more Iaquinta please, just because he scored a goal, everyone made him a hero.
Lippi should have also learned his lesson that you don't blow your wad on subs in the 60th minute.

Pado..that goal was offside...it is offside in Italy..it is offside in England and offside in Antartica...not only was the player offside and interfering he also tried to tap it in...PLEASE.

The tie was well deserved ... some cards were a very STRICT application of the rules but let's not forget that the US didn't score a goal or really come close.
In fact, we came closer to scoring a goal in the second half than Italy...we actually put the ball in the net. Of course Mcbride was in an offside position and interfering with play, so the goal was rightfully called back. But we still came closer to scoring..

Strict application? More like fucking draconian.

I think the issues should be put to rest Andy. Some people have apologized for prior remarks about our team and others haven't. Lets just move on and concentrate on beating Ghana, which is something very possible.

I think he got the early bus to Milan after that moment, as he was invisible the rest of the game.
He is a pure striker...give him a decent ball as Pirlo did and he will do his thing...when they removed Totti for a defensive midfielder it shut down anything creative ahead of Pirlo who was also lost in the midfield apart from artistic touches...NO ONE was getting the ball to the strikers...Del Piero cannot create anymore and its obvious he is not interested in playing behind Gila but wants to assure his last tournament is not another bust. Nice hustle on the Pirlo balloon but a pure striker a la Pippo would have banged that in.

if you have to start sending people home then many would not even have made the trip to game two against the US.

Toni wants desperately to score to the point he left a wide open Gila hanging opting instead to take a shot and missing it completely.

Dude, watch the movie Behind Enemy Lines and you'll understand.

Bin Laden's and Arkan's legacy should obviously not be carried out for centuries.

Oh I'm not saying he was worse than the others, but when all of them suck then it doesn't take much to be on par. Yes, he had the one difficult shot which I don't blame him for missing. The one from distance was way too easy for Keller. And apart from that I didn't see him do anything at all. He's way too slow to take on players, he doesn't pass anywhere but sideways, he doesn't make runs (except the one), that's about it really.

And Totti was just as bad, so what's the difference anyway in a contest of who can suck the most? (Please spare us your "witty" puns, people.)

Btw I was in Antwerpen briefly, today and Friday night. :)
Did you enjoy your stay? You got quite lucky with the weather then.

I didn't stop off in Antwerpen, I just saw it from the bus and it looks quite cosy and charming. I was passing through as I spent the weekend in Brussels.

Very wrong decision :D. I know Brussels is the European capital and all, but Antwerpen is a much nicer city. I can't say I'm too happy to live there though, because of the pollution and the overwhelming presence of fascists. I guess Antwerpen's glory days are past us, but it's still a nice, and indeed cosy, city.
