the refs started quite good in the tourement but now they are just a joke, most of them..

These new FIFA rules are just rubbish and are starting to ruin games, as seen with the Italy-USA match. They are going overboard when the best option for the game is letting the two teams play.

Dude the days of pumping up Del Piero to NO end are OVER. Moggi pulled strings to get his players favorable headlines and calls up to the National but its over. Del Piero is such a non factor on the field that he is like added baggage....he doesn't support .. he doesn't feed and he desperately tries to score just to stop seeing visions of a horrible international career in his vision. I admire his loyalty and sportsmanship but he has never lived up to his name in international tournaments...all Del Piero fans have to think of is that goal against Mexico....
Since 96 we have been force fed this idea that he is the great Italian hope and he will lead Italia to great places...he didn't fail ..he never even tried. I am extremely sick of his special treatment...the same Juve fans that call for Vieri and Inzaghi to stay home have no problem saying Del Piero should be called. ANY OTHER PLAYER would never have gotten a FOURTH CHANCE like he has...Gilardino scores and Del Piero should start???

Italy probably wouldn't have been in the world-cup 2002 without Del Piero, check his Qualification games(goals) and then decide whether he's always been an added baggage....He never played as a starter during the WC02 only against Korea and thats less than 50min If my memory doesn't fail me...He came as a Subs against Mexico to save Italy with a header....But seems that you forgot to thank him...

So far in Germany, he played 7min against Ghana and about 37min against USA, I don't know If we've watched the same game but he looked to me the most inform player alongside Pirlo and Cannavaro that day...Was very close and unlucky not to score that night...But guess what again, It's De Rossi who took the red card this time....Still Dp's fault eh???
