The CL final goal gives it some credibility, it's not laughable anymore. But I still disagree strongly, you can't just forget half of the season in such an award.
Agreed. Mandzukic was absolutely insane all year.

Sandro, was our MvP before newyear tho, i'm sure @Osman agrees, and he's far too low in every poll

it wasn't laughable even before the cl final. it was always a legit opinion. higuain was also a great candidate, and the cl final didn't change too much: higuain was poor out of the box for most of the season, his main skill is to score from the box, while mandzukic is a hard working animal with a completely different skillset.

btw mandzukic didn't have a poor first half of the season. his best individual performance of the whole year came against atalanta, and he did great against samp, pescara and sevilla, too.

Newsflash we lost the final, so his goal along with his presence were irrelevant, so his value in that game is 0
Hmmm, can't agree with that line of thinking at all. If the score was 3:0 for Real at that point, yes, but not when his goal tied us at 1:1 and gave us a chance to get back into the game.

Well I think I explained myself a couple of times a few weeks back already, no point in repeating that once again.
