(Agree with all of it :p )

Were you insinuating that I was ignoring the other possibilities? (i.e. do you see Bernie pardoning a convicted fraudster with deep ties to your country's #1 enemy? Do you even see Paul Ryan doing that? Do you see George Bush doing that?)

Your post seemed to indicate that by agreeing with the bolded I seemed to ignore the rest.

And yes, most politicians are pretty damn unethical.
No. I was trying to draw attention to other possibilities, which I thought might be lost when you bolded only one part. Sorry if it came across as accusing you of willfully ignoring Trump's behavior.

Trump said "flipping" should be illegal in his F&F interview. Many of his friends have had to deal with this. Apparently in Trump world, everybody who negotiates plea deals with government and gives evidence is just making up stories and lying.

Trump, speaking like a mob boss. The guy so desperately wants to be a dictator.

He also said if he’s impeached the stock market will crash and EVERYONE will be poor.

We all know it's the republican strategy for the midterms. They hope to rile up their base and get moderates to align with them by playing the impeachment card.
Strategy for 2020 too if Dems win the house and proceed with impeachment. They expect the public to react the same way they did to Clinton's impeachment. That would be true if he could keep his mouth shut, or look apologetic like Clinton but thankfully he doesn't know any better.

Churchill was the most disgusting of them all
Churchill was a racist, genocidal piece of shit.
Churchill is fucking Churchill. He was horrible for a lot of people in a lot of ways. But he was also an incredibly intelligent man who most certainly had qualities we should aspire to.

It comes down to managing expectations I guess. I think that Obama is fundamentally a good man for example. I know he's done a lot of good things too. Hell, even the mere fact he was a non-white president was probably helpful.

But no one becomes president of the US without being tough as nails. I'm sure that Obama too got rid of several adversaries in less than pretty ways. I don't think that necessarily means he's a disgusting human being. It's just the way it works unfortunately. And even if you're a politician who just wants to get things done, you have to play the game.

If you look at the speed of developments over the last two days, I wonder what next week is going to look like.

I figure he does something to take public consciousness off the Mueller stuff. Probably some racist propaganda relating to the dead girl in Iowa.

I hope trump is impeached but not sent to prison.

He is going to be the most entertaining ex president ever. All bitter, shaking his fist at the country. Releasing classified shit, dirt on other politicians, countries etc.
