I think it's a tough market. Making adventures and action movies you aim at a big audience. Comedies are diffocult as people have different sense of humor. Imo it's not just a last decade, I find them tough to find generally.

I loved Zohan, dislike almost everything Sandler touches, but that one was great, the 5.5/10 on IMDB doesn't do it justice Also love Will Ferrells Semi-Pro (with Woody Harrelson)

I liked zohan, waterboy, happy Gilmore and that's my boy.

Other than step brothers and maybe Talladega Nights or anchorman I've never found Will Ferrell funny.

Woody Harrelson is great though. Kingpin with Bill Murray was funny.
