Lord Raiden was also Christopher Lambert, don't know if they can top that

You dont know how OVERQUALIFIED the guy who god the Lord Raiden role, is for an MK movie :D Tadanobu Asano is just awesome in any role:

The man played Ghengis friggin Khan to perfection, also note at 01:52 , it looks like he already has Lord Raidens powers LOL

Super intense/interesting in all of his roles, from lead to even smallest bit-parts (pretty much is in most of Takeshi Miike movies):

And if you into freaky, watch him as ichi the killer lol. Dont eat before watching lol.

Also this is hands down best film of 2021 so far, at worst will finish this year as a top 3 flick. Kaluuya and Stanfield are stone cold actors. Plemmons too.

The powerful performance in this below scene alone is worth the admission (speech he gives after coming out from jail for a bogus "he stole 70 dollars worth of ice cream" charge lol):

Went down a Takeshi Miike movies rabbit hole. Last one from 2011, called Hara-kiri, death of a samurai.

Oh should I not seen it before the Juve game, not even in the mood for football after this. It was so heavy and utterly depressing drama. Beautiful story really. In hauntingly suffering way. Remake of a 60s movie of same name.

Why? From one depressing act to another, smoothly :D
