Tarantino said that's his worst but I like it.

Kill Bill (or any of his other stuff) doesn't come close to Resevoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction though.

Because the "look at how cool we are" in joke went too far & the movie itself was a snoozefest.

You could try giving Jackie Brown a shot. It's similar but still different, possibly because it's based on an Elmore Leonard novel.
