Probably the best westerns (they are spaghetti westerns too) ever made. A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad & The Ugly.

Also, you don't have to watch them in any particular order. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly is definitely the best one. One of the best movies I've ever seen too.

Zach Snyder directing. It should be Boss.
Seriously that is one of the reasons that i think i will be disappointed , the first time i saw 300 i was 14 , i didn't know it was based on a comic , i thought that it was based in actual history and hearing the stories that my father told about me about spartans i was really excited and i liked it . After seeing it again a year ago it didn't seem special at all .
Haven't yet watched watchmen , but i have watched the first 17 minutes of sucker punch after which i quit watching it . Horrendus movie , really horrendous movie . The hopes i have for this is that nolan produces .

Another thing i don't like about snyder is his slow-motion , i really hope there is no bullshit like that in superman

Watchmen is one of the best comic book movies made. Sucker Punch wasn't as bad as people make it out to be, I thought the concept was kind of cool and the special effects were pretty awesome.

Sucker Punch is decent, you have to watch it all the way through to figure this out. Watchmen is great, but only if you're a "listener" with a solid attention span. Due to the many themes running through the picture.

Man of Steele probably won't look like anything Snyder has ever done. You can already see from the trailer that he's ditched the "darkness falls" lighting that's been a trademark in most of his other films. Dude is talented, the film should be the bomb. The cast looks good. Nolan producing will have zero to do with the final outcome. This was filmed while Nolan was finishing Batman. All Nolan's production credit tells you is that the script is probably solid, the film is well-funded, and the sound/picture will be edited in a quality studio and also he's behind Zach Snyder on this project.

It was a nice, small action flick.

Yeah, thought Sucker Punch was a lot of fun as well. Watchmen is obviously a good flick, but my personal favourite remains his Dawn of the Dead remake. Might just be my favourite remake ever.

On the other hand, I didn't care for 300 one bit. While Legend of the Guardians was excrutiatingly bad. Nothing even slightly entertaining about that one.

I forgot he did DOD. That was a lot of fun.

it was a visual treat......though mostly a homerotic visual treat!

i could see why someone might enjoy it but i have never quite got the obsession with 300 that some folk like Badass have

other than supressed latent homosexuality

but then i feel the same way about Top Gun

Maybe after the first 20 mins it get's better , but those 20 mins were awful . The lead girl was not impressing , the story was a mess , the effects and action scenes didn't make an impression and it tried to make you care about the main girl , but i didn't feel anything at all . I have no intention of going back to that movie again , but i should give a try to Watchmen .

Still i am glad that he was not interested in the new Star Wars Triology :tuttosport: (not that anybody was thinking about giving him the directing chair) , now i hope the same words come out of the mouth of michael bay

That is what i meant when talking about nolan , it should have a nice script and from the trailer it looks like a different take on the superman story than previous movies .

Still a very good superman movie is difficult to pull off in my opinion . Mainly because i think he doesn't have much depth in him like batman for example . Supes is usually the goody two shoes who always does the right thing . Second reason are his powers , i mean the man is fucking indestructible and his only weakness is a piece of rock , which makes it difficult to put him in a tight spot and create tension , unless a kryptonite rock appears of nothing like usual (i am talking about you smallville) or his enemies knowing his weakness and having kryptonite with them . This is also one of the reasons i like the zod choice as his enemy since he has the same powers like superman . I hope we finally see him actually fighting and throwing punches with someone .

Michael Arndt seems to be involved in the script of Star Wars :tuttosport: , still not clear if he will be the only writer or he will be part of an ensable , but this is definetly good news . Now if they nail the cast and the director this could become and adventure that will we will never forget :tuttosport:

Just saw the trailer for World War Z. Shit looks sick!
I was pretty excited about that , but the trailer was a total turn off . It looked like garbage . The way the zombies moved was totally unrealistic , it was biologically impossible to move like they did , and it defied the laws of physics . I am okay with zombies running althrough i like their walking counterparts more , but at least make them run like normal people , like 28 weeks later or something

On other news , Michael Arndt confirmed for next Star Wars :tuttosport:

Well, I'm not usually too concerned with realism when it comes to my zombie films, but I totally get what you are saying about the WWZ trailer. It looks like the movie is going to be a mess. But I'll go into it with an open mind.
