Got around to watching The Avengers yesterday. What a mess. Don't understand why this was so well received. Very boring & most of the so called jokes were annoying rather than funny. The climactic battle scene was well done though, I guess that counts for something.

Also watched some, euhm, "thing" called Shoot The Hero. Terribad, but the closing credits were nice

But at least I (re)watched 1 great movie: Super 8. Liked it even better than the first time I saw it. Crazy just how many perfectly executed scenes this movie contains.

There were a bunch of deleted scenes that would've made The Avengers a tad better. It made me feel the character development in the movie was incomplete.
