It is a "shock" movie. Supposed to be gory and challenging to the mind. Just wondering if it manages that. The main lady apparently mutilates her downstairs mix up in the finale.

Because it floats my boat. My culture doesn't accept genital mutilation as common place, so my options are to move or find another outlet.
A friend of mine got to talking with a priest on a flight there recently. Him being a movie buff, the conversation turned to film. The priest started describing something he'd seen recently, but couldn't recall the title. My friend suddenly pieces it together, "Do you mean... Antichrist?" he asked. "Yes."

The Ex - Pretty enjoyable romantic comedy, mostly due to the leads. Braff & Bateman are almost always watchable, while Amanda Peet isn't exactly too hard on the eyes either.

I thought it was pretty decent, not great. A lot depends on how you feel about Tom Cruise though.

Son of Rambow - Endearing little movie with some funny moments. Brilliant soundtrack too (The Cure, Duran Duran, ...). Acting is pretty good (natural), apart from some iffy moments.
Cheers, I'll look it up. Just saw the plot on imdb, sounds interesting.

Taken- Liam Neeson, kicking ass, end of discussion.
It's a fine action movie. It's a pity he wasn't used in the genre before - he's perfect for it.

A new I'm Legend movie is being developed.

I guess it will be a prequel to the first one.
Oh, God. That first film was awful. It didn't understand the book at all, the CGI was awful, and the film died with the dog.

Up

A bold, moving, funny, and beautifully animated film by Pixar.

Pixar's best film. One of the films of the year.
I agree.

Each movie they are making seems to get better and better, and I'm not just talking about the animation quality either.

Wall-E and now Up are prime examples about how the power of love and devotion are not limited to strictly live action movies.

this is definitely their finest work yet.

The scenes showing the couple growing old together were touching and heartbreaking

That is one of the finest scenes I've seen in a long time.

Wonderful
