it's a fun movie.

think Shaun of the dead, except with fast zombies. Not as good as the English movie, but still enjoyable

If you like horror comedies then this is a no brainer.

watched The Spirit. What a fucked movie that was. Terrible. Nice visuals though.

No it wasnt, it is one of the best films of the year, the only let down was the digital photography.
Yes it was, unless you enjoy 2.5h of chasing and tommy-gun shoot-outs. I figured there would be a plot involved somewhere. Instead you got; here's Dillinger, here's Purvis, lets get it on.

It's been a while since I posted in this thread so here goes.

Ghost Town - Pretty enjoyable romantinc comedy, some actual laughs. How much you'll end up liking this depends on the fact if you can stomach Ricky Gervais or not. I can.

The Mist - Had seen it before but this time I went for the black & white version. Massively underrated movie, probably even one of my favourites of the past years, despite some, at times, rudimentary effects. Acting is great & the general atmosphere of the movie is amazing to me.
After seeing the making of I now like it even more: one of the camera operators was wearing a Juve shirt :D

You're the first person I've come across that doesn't like it.
It wasnt original, it wasnt funny, the aesthetics were distracting, the acting wasnt good, the zombies wernt good. Any film that bases itself on one joke, which wasnt funny, about woody wanting to find a fucking twinkie, is not going to be a good film, its essentially a stoner film wrapped up in a nice big hollywood budget, with zombies thrown in. Mark Kermode (who liked it) summed it up as a 'Comedy with film zombies, not a zombie film'. Much like 'The Hangover' it was a film that had such a good marketing campaign that it managed to convince people it was funny before seeing it and as a result people were blind to just how bad it is.
