Was looking for that list the other day. Come to find out Kodi has most if not all of those movies :D So to answer your question way back, yes, it's not only mainstream flicks, it has it all.

Just finished watching chappie . Was expecting one terrible movie seeing the reviews , but it wasn't as shit as i thought it would be . Starts terribly imho , but gets better . Not very good nonetheless althrough I would advise watching it . There are some great ideas here , but the execution is terrible . The villans aren't memorable and are are totally underdeveloped , some of the shittiest villains I have ever seen . The plot at times makes not sense and most of the characters are totally unappealing . The star of the show is obviously chappie , the robot is very likeable .

Blomkamp has kind of went off track after district 9 , but I still do think he is pretty talented althrough I think he should not write the entire scripts himself and he should work with better writers . I like the ideas he tries to convey and love his visual style and the way he implements his sci-fi elements . This is one of the only movies in the last years I have actually looked at robots who look like machines in contrast to the hyper realistic almost human like robots that have been present in movies in last years . Seriously I see the cgi in this than on the new terminator trailer who has almost 4 times the budget and I have to give credit to the guys who made this , looks really natural and real .

Got to see Ex Machina, as expected it was great, though i think some of the conversation was a bit too long and unnecessary.

Chappie was also a movie i looked forward to watching, and yes, it wasnt as bad as the reviews put it, still am a big fan of Blomkamp..

@Völler any info on Voyage of Time? And Knight of Cups didn't go well, eh?
Knight of Cups seemed to divide the critics. But that makes sinse since, apparently, there's even less going on plotwise than in To the Wonder.

Voyage of Time and Weightless could probably both get released next year, but it's Malick, so it could be five or ten years instead. We probably won't know for sure until it's announced as part of a film festival.

 For some reason I have high expectations for Voyage.

Have you seen any movie recently (and liked)?

I actually haven't had the time to watch a lot of movies recently, but of those I've seen the last month or so, Timbuktu and Wild Tales were the best. Oh, and La haine which I, for no good reason at all, had never seen.
