No not really. Though havent tried his movies much, recall we saw sång från andra våningen at school and it finding completely pretentious.

I recall from the film studies course we used to have a little game where we would vote on who could come up with the most ridicolous Roy Andersson like movie title :D

Kind of agree even if I think there are some great moments in it. As a whole it's just ... too much. :D

Have you seen any of Ruben Östlund's movies yet? He's definitely inspired by Andersson, but I just think he utilizes the static style a lot better.

No I havent, I have ForceMajeure still on my hard drive, not tried it yet. I downloaded it because you were raving about it. Usually I dont watch swedish movies at all btw, generally given up on them (feel fake and 100% like you are watching actors reading their lines), so I tend to miss out on those who hold international class due to that.

En duva satt på en gren och funderade på tillvaron opens next week so I guess torrents will pop up soon. Wanna see that one.
En duva tog ett skit på huvudet medan återspeglar förekomsten av skit.

Good that you say so, because usually when they post these lists, not all of these movies are easy to find good torrents of :p
:agree: It isn't. Kodi is a life saver.

There are tons of great soviet animated movies under Disney radar. Glad Norshteyn is rated by somebody
:D

I'm still waiting for him to finally finish The Overcoat. It's pretty ridiculous that it's been in production for over 30 years now. But I love his animation style. It's pretty incredible.

What other Soviet animators/animations would you recommend?
