The trend we have been witnessing.
The repeated injuries to key players that are supposed to make a difference.
The Sarri system that so far in December is just a myth, we are still playing grind.
The amount of goals we concede mainly due to a terrible defensive plan IMO
The lack of motivation of our best player in the league (he said that if it were up to him he would only play in the CL and national team)
Going back to trend, I see Inter trending better. I also see them strengthening in January (I have a strong feeling they will sign Vidal)
They should strengthen in Jan as this might be their best shot at a title in a while, but Barca today confirmed that Vidal is staying.

The point is not if the players have made a mistake, it is about telling the reporters about it instead of keeping it in within the team. Dybala and Bernardeschi first knew about their mistake is when Sarri told the journalist about it. He threw them under the bus in public, something a proper professional manager would never have done.
I dont mind throwing Berna under the bus :p.

Regarding injuries: it's better to have them in the first half of the season... as simply due to the rule of averages we won't get as many in the second half.

Meh 1 goal difference from 17/18, 2 from 16/17 and those were possibly our best seasons under Allegri. Nothing to see here really.

Our defence isn’t great, but it hasn’t been awful. It’s our anemic attack that has been the problem thus far. The +11 goal differential is really bad too, the same as our awful start to the 15-16 campaign, only that year we weren’t getting the lucky bounces, and scraping last gasp wins like this year. +11 after 15 rounds puts us at +28 over a 38 match season, and if that happens we’re going to eventually drop a lot of points. For reference our worst goal differential of the last 8 years was +40. Every other season we were +47 or better. So we definitely need to sort that out. The optimist in me says we will. We have too many good attacking players to continue like this for much longer.

This guy actually thinks Sarri handpicked Berna as a starter and that that's why he's been starting, not bc of injuries.
It has nothing to do with what I think. It's based on what has actually happened.

Ramsey was fit and even played some games instead of Berna. Berna though has been largely preferred over Ramsey. Costa was fit for over three weeks and started all five games on the bench. That it what we all know has happened. You're of course free to speculate on why that is the case.

You get way too easily triggered by facts. You need to chill a bit.

its pretty obvious that what Sarri wants from the CAM is someone who will press like a madman which is why he has played berna and ben10 there despite having costa, ramsey and dybala.

he must think its necessary to have a presser there to accomadate for having two FWs who dont press that much.

Not sure how certain posters havent noticed this yet. maybe if he starts higuain that could take some load off the CAM.

Yes that is the only reasonable explanation as Berna in current form offers very little going forward.

and Berna is good at that part of the game. he can run all game, is of decent size/strength and is aggressive too. he will just straight crash into opposition players. its not pretty but he is effective at the pressing game, has made it difficult for opposition to build out the back, which is why he continues to play.

If I didn't know better I'd think this is your first year following any sport if you thought Ramsey & DC were 100% match fit. The little we did play them led to relapses.

Just lol at anyone thinking Berna is preferred over DC and Ramsey.

:hihi:

just lol at anyone thinking both DC and Ramsey were out of the team because the club only plays players who are 100% match fit. If I didn't know any better i would think this is your first season following Juventus.

You're inventing stuff now. I've not claimed that they were 100% match fit. Ramsey was fit enough to start games and Costa was fit enough to be on the bench for five straight games coming on as a substitute in four of those.

As I earlier said you can speculate all you want about the reasons, but the fact remains that Berna has started over both while they were available.

Chiellini the reason behind those stats , not Allegri nor Sarri ...

Accept that our defence line is in change ... + the new boy has all the green lights to make mistakes ...

Sarri should benched Deligt long time ago , part of learning process

We will most likely win the league and see some improvement in the second half. That does not mean that we will show the kind of progress to consider his first season a success.
