Again we overpaid for no real reason...

Do you just copy past the same prepared remarks for every post? This is the cheapest transfer deal we done for senior team player since getting Barzagli from Wolfsburg.

In what universe is 1.5m now and 1.5m in a year overpayment for a promising Brazilian teen forward? Especially since they were getting 6-7m offers for him before we got involved.

Honestly just log off and take your schizo meds.

And it is worth mention that this cheap price is too because the contract issue.

He is EASILY a 15~20 euros sell for Santos if they had a contract of two or three years yet with him. The guy was titular in a continental campaign with Santos until the final. No young boy here in Brazil in this context, being of course a player from the midfield or attack, is sell for less than this. Santos didn't expected that he would become so better so soon. Maybe he repeat this in Juventus too.

The comparison was solely on cheap transfer fees for main team player (and barza was 10 times cheaper with just 300k).

Anything else would be foolish to entertain, since Barza is best Juve defender of the decade. And was considered a big talent in Serie A and won league in Germany. We just got lucky coaching change made him expendable in Wolfsburg.

Hopefully with this kid we got as lucky too.

Not sure about that comparison. Barzagli was a quality player for a while, with a dip in form, yes, but not a unknown player like this guy. Barza, among others, was a key player for Wolfsburg when they won the league for example.

If he will be in the first team and can get just more than or shy of 10 goals contribution a whole season. Then that is already pretty good for him
Because the first year for Lautaro Martinez, he came for 25m at age 20ish, he only getting 9 goals 1 assist in all competition

I really hope he settling well and play his trade with us as impact sub getting some goals or contribute here and there
The fact that we paid Santos for his imminent arrival is the proof that we actually rate him. If he will be some loanee or U23, we will just wait and get him for free
Or probably we just want to honor Santos for development fee
