That's the problem. Men like those in ISIS know that in order for their perverted view on Islam to work, women have to be subverted and controlled.

It's their own way of "population control", right Turk? Women to them are nothing more than an assembly line of human reproduction: Stay silent, never question, do as we say.
The best is: "We defend them from the Western values and view on women" dafuq bitches be ruling over here

Value of women in Islam is too much for your understanding.

:howler:

I can't see through this comedy of errors. Our military, particularly our marines, would absolutely embarrass ISIS if they met out in the open. Better trained, better equipped, better shots, smarter, better organized tactically, the list goes on.

Why do you choose between two assholes? I refuse to choose between two evild!
He's not! He's been killing civillians since 2012, and back then all world was against him, but yet US, didn't care about human rights!

Let's just agree that it has nothing to do with Terrorism, human rights, democracy or anything like that, it's all about oil.
Did Russia veto against the bombing in Iraq in 2003, or 1999 in Kosovo?

Don't see women making it very far over there.

Yes, I know that in order for Islam to perpetuate itself, men are free to marry anyone they want but women MUST marry Muslim because Islam teaches that at birth, a child is already a Muslim when born and allowing a female to marry outside of the religion would make that close to impossible. Again: population control

We get it. No need to hide from it. We all understand better than you and Rebel think.

One thing is for sure, in the US or Europe you won't see any woman be executed by a firing squad or tortured because of some 1,000 year old sharia law farce court. We just decided to move forward with time rather than live in the past.
    skin them alive
    Indeed.
Indeed, simply because we can't fathom such treatment of women.

the funny thing here of course is that by highlighting the woman's participation you are indirectly implying that women are inferior and this si some sort of accomplishment for them otherwise their actions wouldnt need highlighting
highlighting an accomplishment of a woman reaching high ranking positions? Well, when you consider OUR history of women's rights and where we have come from, yeah it is an accomplishment. Just like anywhere in the world at some point or another, men didn't like to think that women are as good or better...well, thankfully we are in a place now that (even though still isn't 100% equal) its getting closer to equality.

But maybe I'm misunderstanding your post to Andy?

it's not equal, women have more rights/privileges than men. It's silly to highlight anything women do since they get more opportunities and help and actually outnumber men both in education and employment, also single women make more than single men. Let's stop regurgitating feminist victimization BS.

Indeed, but in terms of the battlefield, they are inferior. Just like how their threshold for pain (through child birth) is greater than ours. Nothing wrong with that, it's just the way that it is.

Company I work for is like 75% women, 95% of the management team consist of women apart from the CEO, CFO and other members of the board.

I'm certainly not one that supports feminists, I can't stand them. BUT, I don't recall saying its equal. What I did say was, that it's closer to being equal than every before i.e. 60 years ago, for example.

i dont want to derail the thread further, but you said it was closer to equality, my point is we are way past that in the other direction. Anyways if you are really serious in learning about the subject i highly recommend this:

That's all you needed to say. :D
I agree with you over most of the luxuries women get over men now, etc but that wasn't my argument.

As far as being on topic, this fits the profile of what extremists are doing in the region and their perverted view on their own religion and reference to women.

Are women better or worse now, in Iraq? Worse.

The politics of this thread effect women in the region this thread is discussing. The views of ISIS in regards to women, IMO, is right on track for being on topic.

    - - - Updated - - -

That's what I'm trying to say, in other words, not trying to derail the discussion of Iraq rather than tie in women into the discussion since they will obviously be affected.

Ok, as you care that much about women of the region, try to read about r-a-p-e victims by the regimes of both Malki in Iraq and Assad in Syria...

Sure, right after I read about the r-a-p-e victims by ISIS, AL-Qaeda and other known terrorist organizations across the entire region.

    But...
Value of women in Islam is too much for your understanding.

Look. I'm not here to fight you. It is so stupid to come to a forum just to clash with somebody thousands of kilometres away. I'm not here to defend either IS or Islam. I help you in having a full picture of the situation in the region. If you want to see the full picture, be my guest. If you don't want to, just say that you are here to tease people.

I'm not here to tease people, especially in this thread. I just see (as I'm sure you do from some of us) a very biased view from you and Turk.
