They are not my ''buddies'' but it's safe to say they would skin your soldiers alive if they meet on ground. There is a reason why US made it clear, they will not field troops.

About hiding behind kids and women; This is a shameless excuse Jews use while they slaughter people of Gaza. It seems you are no better than them.

And the US has been for less than 250 years.

Looks like there was a mess there long before we ever started anything.

What a bunch of pussies. Executes a women's rights activist after torturing her...executed by a firing squad.

A woman.

A woman fighting for women in a region notorious for suppressing women.

I can't see through this comedy of errors. Our military, particularly our marines, would absolutely embarrass ISIS if they met out in the open. Better trained, better equipped, better shots, smarter, better organized tactically, the list goes on. I don't now if you're serious about the last part. I don't think you will find an Iron Dome set-up near (or inside) a school of hospital, rather across the border there you would.

allahu akbar

the fact that ISIS fights more like a real military is bad news for them if they were ever to meet on the ground

It's quite simple: Assad provides stability (or at least he did). Assad is the lesser of two evils.

Which part?: UN activist, female pilot, or both? I had like 3 posts in one, so not sure which part you are referring to as propaganda.

I don't question their superior ability to kill people. You said that meeting on ground is about bravery and cowardice but it turned out to be an equipment issue.

Yeah right

ISIS would be destroyed in a battle against US ground troops, I just don't think America want to go down that route at this moment in time. Doesn't seem to be a popular option.
Indeed, after Iraq and Afghanistan, the criminals in government know it would be the straw that breaks the camel's back if they were to order a ground invasion. That doesn't mean they haven't suggested it or have it sitting out there as a wildcard after blowing up something.

I guess Turk is just a proponent of ISIS, not sure what else to call him.

Why do you choose between two assholes? I refuse to choose between two evild!

Like I said before, without a real threat to the US, I don't really care what happens to Syria. But in weighing the possibilities, Assad is by far the better option. It's common sense, really.

The only superiority any of these rebels or Al Qaeda would have in certain parts of the Middle East and West Asia would be terrain. Obviously that is a big advantage in places like Afghanistan, which is why it was moronic to suggest we could win there in the first place (like they even care if we could or not). Street battles in places like Syria wouldn't be great either. Of course whomever is familiar with the land will have an advantage.

You're just anti-women. At least that's what the war-monger females in the State Dept. would say.

Yes, I said meeting on the ground because their cowardice to hide amongst women and children they are somehow protecting against foreigners*.

ISIS are nothing but a bunch gutless idiots. They parade their equipment and "numbers" around the streets but guarantee you once we attack they go into hiding right along these innocent people. At least have the guts to face the enemy man-to-man instead of risking the death of innocent people.

Difference between our military and ISIS is at least we try and minimize innocent death while ISIS will use religion to convince these poor people that dying as a martyr is the way to go.

What's even more gutless is they make videos of sawing a guys head off and keep the location secret because they know they would be annihilated.

Why wouldn't someone think women are great?
Women are great, its when they begin "thinking" on their own that extremists throw a fit and execute with a firing squad.

No idea. But there's a lot of hatred towards women. Especially among the people we are discussing right now.

The liberation of women is the greatest thing ever. The idea of only havin' to screw one girl thruout my life (my daughters and grand-daughters excluded). What if I ended up with some slappy meat curtains and a smelly pooch :( Now I can choose :weee:

That's the problem. Men like those in ISIS know that in order for their perverted view on Islam to work, women have to be subverted and controlled.

It's their own way of "population control", right Turk? Women to them are nothing more than an assembly line of human reproduction: Stay silent, never question, do as we say.
