simply bec we tend to CHOKE!!!!! on a serious note its not just bec we choke we do well in tournaments when the games are close to one another ( unlike other nations in north africa who do much better in qualifications but not in compounded tournaments) but with wc qualifications the games are further apart from one another and thats why the quality of performances vary drastically as compared to how egypt plays in the caf or oven the confederation cup.

What's a joke is that the AFC can potentially send 5 teams to the WC and that CONCACAF is entitled to 4 seats; only Mexico and the US should be allowed to qualify. The other teams are a joke.

I would say 4 teams for Asia and 3 for the CONCACAF is more than enough.

15 European teams
5 South American squads
5 teams from Africa
4 teams from Asia and Oceania
