Why on earth would he be a sub? He's never been a sub in his entire Juve career, why now? The only reason Amauri was starting in the beginning of the season was Trez' injury.

i would hope plp don't have a problem with trez. i just think plp don't see him replicating his form. he's older, had injury issues, and probably won't get the playing time he wants. i still think he's quality, but it's also difficult to pass up on rossi, so i'm not sure where to go here.

He's 32 years old now and he's no getting any younger. Iaquinta is just as productive as him right now and even has that little extra drive that Trez lacks.

I think it would be for both Trez's and Juve's best interest to part.

Trez would join Villareal, he would get regular playing time. He would be playing under less pressure against less defensive teams. He would be much happier.

Juve would be able to buy G.Rossi, Italy's brightest young talent. We would be able to cut our wages drastically in the coming years with Trez gone. And a team consisting of Amauri, Rossi, Del piero, Diego, Camoranesi, Giovinco is just mouthwatering to say the least. We would probably have the most creative squad in Italy.

Fine, it's an okay theory. I don't think it's really true, because some people have always been on his case without any mention of those events. But like him or not I think some of these statements of him being inferior to Amauri or Iaq are ludicrous considering what he's done here.

With your mentality, Juve will really become the next Milan. You can't pay a guy 9 M a year because he's stuck with the team in serie B or something. The guy is no angel, if he loves juve so much why doesn't he get a pay-cut or something. The club isn't exactly sitting on gold.

It's amazing how you're okay with leaving aging subs who cost us 9 M a year for setimental reasons. Only one player will ever get that kind of treatment, and that's Del piero. He's a club symbol and even he was close to leaving at one point.

It's a tough reality but it's the only one we have, Trez is getting old and maybe he has a couple of seasons left him in which he probably not be able to perform so well in due to lack of fitness. But no, fuck buying a talented young prospect, let's just let Trez rot in the bench for two more seasons.

I never said he was an inferior player considering Trez's remarkable achievements with Juve in the past, I'm talking about the present and the future. In which cases, yes, IQ and Amauri are probably going to offer more to the team than Trez.
