He cant win whatever he says. Ofcourse he says he would have liked to gone to his home team club, its his HOME TEAM. Whats wrong with that?

Ahmed, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm thinking they didn't want him because he was asking for a large salary. They would've taken him in a heartbeat had he asked for a reasonable salary.

They probably didn't want him because he would be too expensive, too much of a money-grabber for them to afford, and they know he's past it.

they didn't want him cause he was old. napoli's president said we don't need old horses if i remember well...
