I think Brazzo makes 2m/year while a year or so ago Zalayeta was Napoli's highest paid player at 0.8m. I guess they restructured Lavezzi and Hamsik's wages because they were at 0.75m and 0.5m per year.

Yes he fucked up, but I can't help but love this guy. I think I'd welcome him, so would Gigi and Ale.

He'd be very useful to us, if Maldini could win CL at 38, so can Canna.

As much as I hate it to see him back, he'll be just perfect to teach the youngsters (Chiellini included) how to defend.
that really can help our other youngsters like ariaudo, criscito, molinaro (oh yes) and de ceglie too...

and as long as canna can play for the national team with chiellini, he can do it for us too ... i would take him as a precautious action, if there is no good defender available in the summer.

Andy, lose the hate man. It's important to get Juventus back on track and Cannavaro offers a lot of possibilities. The risk would be minimal.
Cannavaro has been crap during the past two seasons. Don't blame that on his partners in crime at Real.

We should be building for the future, not bringing back old has-beens and imbeciles such as Fabio Cannavaro. All it is is nothing more than delaying the inevitable and not fixing the long term problems we face. Instead of wasting time and salary on him, we should be looking at younger options.

I think we need Cannavaro to bring stability. He could use his experience to organise a defense, while players like Chiellini and Criscito could basically do most of the work. If we would get Cannavaro, we would still need build on our defense, so don't think I want him to be the only defender we get.

I dont care about this traitor crap as you noticed with arguing about the other players, so in that regard its not a factor for me (though I find it hypocritical Canna is somewhat worshipped, when he lied to our face, only one to have, before leaving). But as you said, even if he is experienced (stabilizing factor), he is not far from 37 and is NOT good enough at all individually. I regurarly watch Real and Italy, and the amount of times he fvcks up is ridicolous, this is FAR from such a useful Canna, he screws up so much its frigging ridicolous.

Finding better options then him is very easy if we just invest a little (I mean seriously, the Gallas we were criticising is way better right now, and 4-5 years younger).

if we do get canna we can wave bye bye to signing another defender this summer. Altohugh signing him on a free as long as we get someone else will significantly strengthen our backline

i'm hoping for a Criscito recall as well...but yes, with Secco in charge I won't be surprised that if we get Canna, our defensive line will not be strengthened further

i read something the other day that said genoa have a term built into criscito's loan that says they can buy him completely for a fixed price, which makes me worry that it wont be possible to get him back... I hope this is not the case as it would have been such a stupid move by our management

I brought that concern up too as well about a week ago. I still think its up in the air, I had it figured that it was just a simple loan with no option to buy. I hope its wrong and he gets his butt back to Juventus.

Even if we get a bright young talent like Kjaer or bring in someone like Agger which both would be great, I still would prefer Cannavaro over Legro and Mellberg as his experience exceeds both of theirs. Canna could teach our young guns like Criscito/Ariaudo, Chiellini, DC, Molinaro a lot about organization. We need that badly at the moment because we get torn apart so easily and bringing in a young talent with no experience is still very risky without that rock at the back that can run the defense. We do not have much communication at the back and once Chiellini learns that he will be our leader in another year or two. We need someone like Canna not just from what he used to be but what he will be able to teach our players. He may not be a starter and play every game but what he will be able to teach our players when he does step on the field and at practice every single day will be priceless in the long run.
