Think about Del Piero and all that he's done for the club. Based on that, I can have a certain expectation of what he'll do if he comes on the pitch.

Now think about Borriello and his contributions to Juve. When he steps on the field, my expectations are altered based on what he has done. I don't blindly believe that either of them will be awesome when they step on.

I do but it doesn't make sense. People always assume that God does or doesn't do things on what they pray for or desire but they never look at what outcomes end up happening when looking objectively.

I'm not limiting anything. If god places himself away from detection by humans, then you cannot blame humans for not seeing him. The onus is on god for revealing himself again. If they've done it 2000+ years ago, they can certainly do it now.

From what I know of it, I would also say that there are some good things in the bible, but from a historical perspetive of what happened around those ages, not in any way from a religious one. I think we should look at it as a history book.

Well guess what, marriages are no worse today than they were 50 years ago. The difference is that people are more individualistic and have more options today to live life the way they want to instead of being f0orced into something. A good marriage will survive today as it did before, but bad marriages wont and that is the way it should be. Why should someone stay in a bad marriage? Should we applaud a women who lives with a drunk who beats her from time to time for staying married with him for 30 years? Are those good family values?

Sure, marriage is seen more lightly today because it is easier to get out of and people do sometimes rush into it before they should, but its not like that never happened before. The biggest difference is that you dont have to take a bad marriage any more, but that does not mean that family life was so much better before.

entertainment does not equal moral values in a society. it's not like those shows are telling people to go and do that. no, i meant when children are brought up, they are usually brought up following the basic christian moral guidelines. when you get punched in kindergarden, you're told to contact a grown up rather than punching back etc etc. i'm still waiting for a reply from ac regarding the bible and church symbiosis.

And how the whole entertainment is just meant to dumb down people so that powers that be might easily control them is so obvious it's like those horror fiction books about future dystopias right before your eyes. If you can't make a connection between what is thrown in youth face every day and how that might affect society in the long run then I have nothing more to add on this.

No one is saying anything about you, but the whole "what's on TV today" bullshit is retarded. It's entertainment and that's what people wanna watch. Christianity is being anti-diversity and discriminatory for frowning upon them.

You don't need to be a christian to understand that violence and sex at 5pm is not a very good meal for kids. If you don't a agree with that, then I don't think we will agree on anything else on this subject.

I'm not a religious person.

And I agree it is somewhat the same, but the relationship, respect shown from kids to parents is totally different. That's my main problem, not the divorce.
