I always approach statements like that with skepticism. Just as religious people's beliefs are flawed because they don't fully live what they believe in, so is this kinda people's beliefs are flawed because they DON'T FUCKIN LIVE IT TO THE FULLEST for sure, it's just live fast die young bullshit that sounds cool but no one really has balls to do it.

Maybe that's because not everyone is actually 12 years old and simpleminded enough to think that Tony Montana's life is the model for how to live a good life.

I'm certainly making an attempt. For me, it's not something that changes overnight. It's slow and gradual. Nowadays, I'm more open to doing things than before. I try to overcome my inhibitions and try to be a 'yes' man so that i have few regrets as possible. I think that's a start.

No, what I admire is people who want something out of life (beyond their basic physical drives mind you) and actually achieve it. Charlie Sheen in as much as he's a successful actor is admirable. Charlie Sheen as a drug addict is no more admirable than any drug addict sleeping on a park bench somewhere.

This logic is neither here nor there. Why does it make any sense to be a heroin addict if this is the only life you have? Suppose you were going to live forever. Why would you not start with heroin right away, why waste a single moment if that's the maximum you think you can get out of life?

Which god? First prove to me which god, among the thousands of gods mentioned through history, is this god. Only then shall we even get down to whether atheists lose or not.

To insinuate that Adolf Hitler could have fullness of faith and commit those atrocities he did , is ignorance in what it means to be faithful to God, be it in Judaism, Christianity or Islam. No more does Adolf hitler have fullness of faith than islamo terrorists do. For one to fully have faith in God you walk the path God places for you and live your life as closely as you can to his laws and tenants. So one who lives his life according to himself as hitler did is a hypocrite, a deceiver there is no Faith in God there, only to oneself. God sees if faith is true and rewards those with true faith. Remember it is easy to profess faith with lips, but difficult to profess with your heart. Only true faith is rewarded

I'm not going to discuss Christianity but in Islam you don't have to be fulled with faith to be rewarded with heaven, believing in god alone grant you that privilege eventhough you will be punished for your wrong doings.

Why should i believe in YOUR definition of faith? How do you know that Hitler did not have true faith? Did you read his mind? How can you be so sure in such matters?

Besides, my example was very specific. IF all god cared about was faith, then he would not care for Hitler's crimes. Morals would not matter.
