Nobody has answered me this honest question though:
He was earning 4 million/year. How much was the extension, another 4 million?
Wasn't it worth to pay this and have a top full back at his peak for another season and maybe, just maybe a dip in form the season after but still better than most out there than be at this position now where we'll have to settle for lesser quality and still spend, what, 20 million mininum?

Tell that to Beppe that he got a contract with us.But don't be harsh on him cause he is a GOD himself.

It's not a big loss for us. Yeah, Dani was huge for us but only when he was our main attacker on the right side. He was never a great full-back for us. Get a right-back who can actually be bothered playing and defending in his position and get a class right-winger ala Bernadeschi. I can't wait to see each english club fall on it's ass in CL next season. Hopefully we can knock more than one team out.
