I mean people like Ingraham, Pirro, Hannity, Dobbs come across as total cult members.

It’s just very entertaining to hear them panicking about Ebola, which was never a real danger in America given its nature... and then talking about how Covid-19 isn’t a big deal while it’s infecting hundreds of thousands around the world and killing tens of thousands, no one should panic, and Trump is doing an extraordinary job.

It’s Barack Ebola thank you very much. :lol3:
I don’t even find it funny anymore. They’re pathetic.

He might want to actually get the twitter handle right, though.

- - - Updated - - -

A month ago, he said that we don't really need the ventilators. Now, a month later, he is screaming on Twitter at companies who were already making ventilators, that they are not making them fast enough.

This. Simply put. There’s no defending this nonsense.

They are a very different culture, especially after the cultural revolution. And the PRC is a gangrenous pestilence that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later.
They might have flaws but people are exaggerating with this. Why point out if they profit and go like "omg they sold 50 million masks/respirators, greedy bastards..." It's not their fault countries don't produce any but import all from them. Like it's not their fault countries open businesses over there. It's pretty much their own fault.

Can't say US isn't pestilence as well. Their damage to the world overall is way higher, it can't even be compared.

See, to me the problem here is that the administration is looking at this as if the virus has, or is very close, to hitting its peak. Therefore the pushback in regards to the needs for ventilators or beds.

I should say, the majority of the administration. Dr. Fauci is the calm in the middle of this hurricane. He knows that we are not close to flattening the curve, and states like New York are simply trying to prepare for the avalanche of patients that will be coming in once more tests are done. This short sightedness is going to cripple this country.

So they already voluntarily started making vents without dpa being invoked, and now, he's trying to take credit?

    Yeah.

We know how that is going to work out. If anything, he needs to get out of Dr. Fauci's way.
Right, but at least he has Fauci there.

GM hasn't really been good at making cars for decades, so much so even some of my Detroit auto-worker family went to German and Japanese. Hopefully GM is better at making ventilators.

I see people say there's no difference between a ventilator and a respirator. True of false? I've seen some articles one week ago saying like "we bought x amount of ventilators and x amount of respirators".

16 yo healthy girl died in France, the youngest death there so far. There was a 17 year old also with no underlying issues guy in California a few days ago. 21 yo died in Brazil and the numbers are rising.

    “Old people’s disease” my ass.
Once a younger person dies, everyone informs about it.
Check this photo of all the cases in Spain from March 22, when Spain had 19 000 cases.
For example, the number of covid cases in people aged 40-49 is almost the same as it is for ages 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+. But check out the death rate.
Only 9 people aged 40-49 died out of 2919, which is 0.3% of their total and 1.12% of the total deaths in Spain.
But check it out for those +80. 67% of all those who died were 80+ and 87.5% of all who died were 70+.

Spain had 1 death of people aged 0-19. That's when they had 19 000 cases. Today we have almost 600 000 cases in the world, so about 30 of the deaths should be people below 20. We read about each one of them and we're under impression that youngsters die, even though they are only 0.12% of all deaths, or 1 youngster in ~850 deaths.

We are already starting to see health care workers starting to die from this. God help us when (not if, but WHEN) we suddenly have a shortage of medical people on the front line
Italy had to recall pensioners who were doctors to help out while kids from high school got their diplomas early so they can help out. Pretty fucked up really.

Speaking of Detroit, really getting concerned for family up there. The police chief and like 40 officers have the virus, and deaths are starting to go exponential. I think the hospitals there are probably less equipped to deal with an outbreak like this compared to other major cities.

Could you imagine China in control of the world with the Yuan as the reserve currency? Jesus...
