So my wife got an email from the hospital saying the nurses will now have to keep reusing the same gloves for the day. The moment to fix it any other way is long gone. We failed to take advantage of the warnings and the 2 month head-start to prepare for a pandemic. Instead, everything that is being done now is reactionary and we are running behind it.

Leaving a vaccine aside (as we don't know how long it takes to develop one), it's still our best bet imo, and we may still be aiming for it, but in waves, to not crush the healthcare system.

Lockdown -> number of infected people slows down, treat the infected people.

Ease restrictions -> People going to pick up the virus again.

I don't know what's going on but i don't walk around making outlandish claims like you do. There are literally millions if not billions of variables at play that's why we are going biblical and adopting such stringent measures, no one gets it yet.
