You are obviously blind but that's not strange since you love the barca so much we already know that.
So you quote him two times in less than 5minute while he's ignoring. Are you testing us Jack?

Will it make you happier if any of us Mods hands out infractions?

Do you want me to beg you to stop this?

It was reddish because the studs were high, but he went for the ball (that was his aim, even if he was very late), so I get why its viewed as slightly harsh, mainly because referees let shit like that slide too often (how career ending injuries happen) and we gotten used to it, makes bit more orange then red because of it (mainly EPL refs). Its justiable to call it red because it was recklessly high and studs (see below pic), but I could have understood it if it was given yellow in another scenario (despite Pepe deserving punishment for his reckless stupidity), but in general high stud tackles like that shouldnt be allowed to fly (couple inches lower and Alves knee would been goner).

But what made the sitaution more tense, and REALLY did IMO is how the Barca players hovered instantly around the ref, especially that fuck Valdes as usual. Riled up the fans alot. They did it in every scenario, pretty retarded. Doing everything possible to get an edge. But all in all, think the ref was good, it was only two things I think he called wrong, and it was giving Di Maria a freekick (and alves yellow? dont recall) after a complete dive early on the game (started the diving show that was this game), though linesman called it more then the ref. And 2nd is Messi body check on Arbeloa (though not as brutal as Adebayors, enough to be yellow). In general ref had decisions on lock and was pretty apt. Including the red, because it was defenitely an arguable red card, even if a more lenient ref could given yellow.
Apart from the red, I agree that the ref had a good game all in all. Pedro and Busquets must have been booked for simulating face punching (how disgusting it was) and Marcello for stepping on Pedro's foot but the ref obviously didn't see those incidents.

Boring game it was, I couldn't believe it was a CL semi I was watching with two of the best teams in the world playing. Again a reason why I missed the good old football of some years ago with Zizou and Ronaldo still been playing.

I know how you guys here hate English teams, and, as much as I dislike them myself, I have to admit that they are playing a way more fair style of football than the Spanish bigs.

it's amazing how Messi avoids the most obvious yellow cards just because he acknoledges the fouls. Is there any ref with balls to show him a freakin card?

seriously are we really that biased?? no way is that a red, but i guess alves is a good salesman
exactly the sob milked it really well to be honest, but he was'nt a lone did u notice how sergio was trying to go for the same cheap stunt he pulled last year??? or pedro who falls fromt he slightest contact and sets soem drama. for me the thing that i really hated was how barca continue to surround the refree its disgusting honestly its very disgusting.

So? :D
They also ended the game with 10 men in the cup final, who cares?

I'm talking about a decision which changed the game totally. Who cares if Adebayor was sent off at the +85th minute of the game?
 exactly!!! that was really the game changer no doubt specially when u put into perspective the subs prior to his sending off with the removal of ozil and sending in of ade! so all in all barca would'nt have won had pepe been in the game and if they had won it would def be a hard fought 1-0. i think its very crazy to say real were losing in all cases thats just too much of a brag.

i was wondering was'nt mascherano at fault for the same tackle pepe had or they r different??? i'm asking bec i thought it was exactly the same and pepe should've had a yellow the same way mascherano got off with just a yellow card.

Look at his body and shoulders position, whoever plays the game knows that his intention were not on the ball. He had no idea of what he wanted or what he was doing at that very moment and he went on his ankle.

Straight red.
Dont think it was the intent, seeing it live and on replay, he was going into the sitaution for the ball, but he was recklessly clumsy and slow and went on with the motion of going with studs bit high. Defenite rulebook red card, but in practice not allways red cards. But the intent isnt why I said its arguable red, its the fact he was clumsy and recless to the point of going in with the studs like that. Enough to send him off. But scenario made worse by the constant hounding on the ref mostly.

Nope, one can play the game as much as he wants, but he was going for the ball, despite this picture telling another story. I watched it like million times. Pepe went for the ball even before Alves came close. The fact that it was a poor judgement by Pepe and that he wasn't capable to take the foot off, might make it a dangerous play, but not a malicious tackle. He went for the ball and he missed it by half a meter.

This pictures tells a false story.
