It's a straight red man, it's crystal clear he went for the ankle and not the ball, he could have easily broke his ankle, easily.

And it's Pepe we're talking about here, he's even worse than Materazzi with his fouls.
imo it was a yellow card man...in all honesty, and surrounded by a barca fan and a real fan, all 3 agreed it was yellow card. The intention was to kick the ball...

Pepe's foul was never a straight red. NEVER! At most a 2nd yellow if he had one, which he didn't.

But that wasn't even the worse decision. For me the worse was Adebayor's yellow only a minute after Messi escaped a yellow for EXACTLY the same thing.
Arbeloa got a yellow for a bodycheck, exactly the same as one Barca player (don't remember who) made close to the end of the match. No yellow for the Barca guy.
None of the dives were punished, none of the ref pressure was punished.

There were only 2-3 of us here who were complaining about these thing. Now there are at least 20. So ignore me, Jack and Hoori and call us biased, but what are the others seeing? And more importantly, how on earth don't you see that over and over again it is Barcelona that gets help in CL, no matter if they play Milan, Chelsea, Real, Arsenal.
Yet they always escape that with the pathetic excuse that the other team was gonna lose anyway (even though they weren't losing at the moment) because Barca has 8758476736% possession.
I think it's easier for Barca to pull off the innocent act because they keep possession so much and don't have to be as aggressive. Almost every other team has to run after the ball and fouling is often a part of their tactics.

But they do get an obscene amount of calls to go their way. And Pinto is such a fag too, guy's mad he handed Madrid the Copa Del Rey and starts a fight, fucking child.

If your trying to argue that he probably wouldnt of made that challenge if Pepe wasn't sent off, then thats totally meaningless, maybe a bomb dropped on the stadium by Catalan seperatists which magically didnt kill anyone except Mourinho and Florentino Perez if Pepe hadn't been sent off.

Who's to know? I'm not really interested in dealing with what theoretically could of happened, deal with the facts instead.
Lol, what? You are dealing with fictions here, not me. The foul Adebayor made was towards the end of the game so only because he wasn't red carded doesn't make Pepe's red fair.

did i call you names? i have a right to comment on your posts and their quality, plus as a man u fan you should expect all kinda crap we really dont like that team around here.
You seem to not understand what an insult is, but whatever, I apologise, last time I posted on this forum, it wasn't a shit forum where the best people can do is ignore posts and instead click on the profile of someone to see what team like liked.

Apparently that means more now.

They even zoomed it here. He was going at the ball and looking at nothing else but the ball. He probably didn't even see Alves' leg. But his idiocy/clumsiness/ slowness in that action resulted with completely missing the ball.
There was absolutely no malicious intention there to hurt Alves. And Pepe's foot wasn't even that high.
If the red was given for clumsiness, maybe, just maybe, the ref can have a case.
He has no case though for everything else that happened and went unpunished. And everything went in Barca's favor.

To me it looked like he went for the ankle because there was simply no way he could have reached the ball as the pass was played pretty fast even before he attempted the kick. The intention was much worse than kicking the ball.

If I was the ref I would have given him red card without thinking twice.

Yes, its both the same thing and I was gonna mention that but it never mattered, as I said even if Pepe wasn't sent off, Adebayor deserved it anyway, so ultimately the only difference is that it was a different player, the outcome of Real being down to 10men was the same.

osman, don't take it so personally. there are always going to be people that have completely polar opposite opinions to you, there is simply nothing you can do about this but don't get into wars over it.

everybody else,chill the fuck out
Honestly, fuck that attitude, I'm browsing the site after an insanely boring game with a great finish (Messi's 2nd), and what do I find? pathetic loser who out of the blue calls me a cocksucker, and repeatedly insults me, this NOT about polar opinions or discussion, he doesnt discuss (since he doesnt watch any games to begin with), he insults and obbessively troll, nothing else. If you do nothing about it. I will call him exactly what I find him to be, a pathetic loser.

Silly, argument based on your blind bias.

Both teams play-acted, cheated, and hounded the ref. This is all based on the red card, which is debatable, but if that tackle had been made against a Juve player I'd expect a straight red card. Of course possession matters in games, and if you are denying that, you are lying.

That's pretty much what I was thinking.

I was about to say the same earlier. :agree:

like i said, roma and especially man u are not liked around here, so you should act with extreme tact while posting in a juve forum about said teams, and i didnt need to look at your profile to know you liked man u.
