Pepe's foul was never a straight red. NEVER! At most a 2nd yellow if he had one, which he didn't.

But that wasn't even the worse decision. For me the worse was Adebayor's yellow only a minute after Messi escaped a yellow for EXACTLY the same thing.
Arbeloa got a yellow for a bodycheck, exactly the same as one Barca player (don't remember who) made close to the end of the match. No yellow for the Barca guy.
None of the dives were punished, none of the ref pressure was punished.

There were only 2-3 of us here who were complaining about these thing. Now there are at least 20. So ignore me, Jack and Hoori and call us biased, but what are the others seeing? And more importantly, how on earth don't you see that over and over again it is Barcelona that gets help in CL, no matter if they play Milan, Chelsea, Real, Arsenal.
Yet they always escape that with the pathetic excuse that the other team was gonna lose anyway (even though they weren't losing at the moment) because Barca has 8758476736% possession.

Mou: We had the intention to keep 0-0. Then bring on a striker, then a third phase, a number ten behind 3 forwards. But the ref didnt allow it
I bet he also planned in bring on Di Stefano as well, who'd go on to score a hattrick.

Does anyone take the shit Mourinho says (especailly now) seriously?

It was a harsh red, no doubt about that. If the tackle was really that harsh without Alves exaggerating it like that, he would have missed rest of the season on that foul. He was ready to come back to the pitch the moment he was taken out.

Still, Pepe is an idiot. He was one yellow away from suspension, he must have never made that foul because it was definitely a yellow anyway.

It's a straight red man, it's crystal clear he went for the ankle and not the ball, he could have easily broke his ankle, easily.

And it's Pepe we're talking about here, he's even worse than Materazzi with his fouls.

Jesus you come online for a bit of a laugh and some decent discussion and typically everybody has their knickers in a twist.
jack, sometimes i wish you would go for a run than post following ANY Barca match,it simply winds you up far too much. though i also know this is perversely amusing for you.
osman, don't take it so personally. there are always going to be people that have completely polar opposite opinions to you, there is simply nothing you can do about this but don't get into wars over it.

everybody else,chill the fuck out

The Pepe tackle was a red. I've referees only issue a yellow for it before, but most of the time those sort of challenges see red. Barca has seen a fair amount of refereeing help in the various competitions they play, but in this case alone, the correct call was made.

actions "speak" louder than words, and though you might call(yes believe it or not you can do that without uttering it i know it's hard to believe) me fucking retarded your liking of manure and roma on top of that cement that qualiification for you beyond any doubt, without me even suggesting it. and you still need to learn to SPEAK english.
What is this shit.

What actions are you talking about lol? Liking a team that I was born into (Roma) and liking a team because I've watched them (and also lived in Manchester for the initial years that I started watching football).

This forum used to be about arguing the posts that was made, not the teams that someone supports while putting your hands over your EYES(hint: no talking lol) and going "lalala im gonna ignore everything thats been said and instead just go "lol you like that team", shut the fuck up if thats the best you can do, your wasting my time having to reply to this rubbish.
