Yeah, completely right. As I said though I thought Jose's tactics were good in the first half with keeping a higher midfield line and pressuring up the pitch. That's what I like to see. Diarra was particularly good, hounding Barca whenever they crossed the 50. In the second half they lost the plot though, and didn't pressure as high. But indeed, since Barca sat back as well, I was expecting 0-0.

They needed to find a way to get Ronaldo the ball more, though. That's how they screwed up. Ronaldo was isolated and unfortunately you're not going to get anywhere by not having him in the game.
Very true, you know you arent going anywhere when Ronaldo goes to his own half, and has to foul Barca players because he is so starved of any ball touches.

Ronaldo imagines things too. But he forgets Shevchenko's goal at Nou Camp.

"It's always the same with them [Barcelona]. This is the fourth consecutive season that something like this has happened. [Jose] Mourinho is right, just look at what happened with Arsenal, Chelsea and Inter," said Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of the game.

He was, but still, you need to get him more involved. Even if it means looking for him up the pitch instead of everyone else. If he can get running at people he's the hardest player to stop in the game, so Jose needed to get him more involved, no doubt.

barca plans to report real for wetting the pitch 15 minutes before kick off...
You know, I consider those sort of tactics very cheap, but as long as Real doesn't plant land mines on their pitch, it's their friggin' pitch -- they can do whatever they want to it. As long as it's not unplayable, they can water it before the match. It's no different than a hefty thunderstorm rolling through.

If things keep going on like this, sooner rather than later Barca and UEFA will have every single big team angry at them and the bigs will ask for heads rolling.
Such a shame that this isn't Italy. We were in a similar situation once (we did get help and everyone felt victimized) and you all know how we ended.

Busquets' acting that got Thiago Motta sent off early in the game.

in the romanian 1st league (i know it isn't ucl but same rules) my home team did this at ht and no points or any bla bla after the game from the other side.

Busquets' acting that got Thiago Motta sent off early in the game.
i think he is referring to the oscar winning scene starring sergio buttsecks

absolute bullshit, in no way was that a red card for Pepe. Just like Van Persie's red card was fucking bullshit. All the help that Barca get really makes my blood boil, it happens everytime when they are struggeling a match. I wont bother watching the finals now at all, not that Real Madrid were looking for a win anyway but still that shouldn't be a red card.

Rofl, what match were you watching?

The Barcelona defence could of been asleep and not conceded a goal, Madrid had no attacking threat whatsoever.

Barcelona dominated the fuck out of that game, and should of won by a country mile.
