Don't worry people, there is no way in hell they can get Conte into trouble for anything.

If they punish Conte with anything, it would be ridiculous. Match fixing is almost never on the part of the coach, nearly always the direct responsibility of the Directors of the club and of course acted by certain players. Just google "coach match fixing": only Conte's name comes up with the recent news.

From the looks of it, they are trying to figure out if he "knew about it", which is a shit reason to actually punish someone for. It is Italy for god's sake. If merely knowing that something wrong happened and not acting on it counts as an offence, then the whole of the Italian government from top to bottom is to be thrown in jail and Berlusconi? Special treatment.

But in the end it just shows how clueless FIGC is about this all. You don't stop a leak by merely cleaning the wet mess under it. Why don't they pursue their full efforts against those who actually start this match fixing shit? But then again, it is Italy.

Not really. Match manipulations are happening all over Europe. There is evidence for fixings in France, England and Portugal. I doubt it doesn't happen in Spain. Remember the "Hoyzer" case before the world cup in Germany. The investigations were led very "sensitive" to avoid digging to deep and heating up the scandal right before the world cup at home. In Italy on the other side, after calciopoli, they did take it more seriously and have never stopped investigating since then.

Concering Juventus, I doubt it will have any consequences for the club, as soon as our lawyers are in place. We are at risk of losing our coach, but the law threatening Conte is a joke. It doubt it will be executed.
